Deserves 5 stars from me
So overall I think these are really good interior lights if you want that kind of look in your car, and would definitely recommend these to someone looking for some. Heres my experience with them so far. When it comes to installing them they are fairly easy to install, the hardest part of putting them up (for me) was finding a spot for them under my dash and seats, since in my truck, the only flat semi-hidden spot was on my front passenger side. As well as finding a way to route the wires to keep them hidden. Otherwise if you know good spots to put the light bars and know how to run the wires so they aren’t in the way, its a simple install that might only take an hour or so (maybe even less) depending on your vehicle. However, the next day after initially putting them up, I ended up hardwiring them into my ignition power and ran a custom switch to the dash so I can just easily turn them on and off with the truck accessory or when its running. Obviously this voids the warranty so I shouldn’t say it’s recommended to hardwire them unless you know how to work with the wiring and know that if they break you most likely wont get a new set without having to buy them again. This being said, they still work great even after the hardwiring and I haven’t ran into any issues. They seem pretty solid however it seems if too much force is put on the wires by accident they may try to pull out of the light bars slightly (one of mine sorta did this, but not enough to cause any issues) They also come with pretty much everything you should need to mount them up, this includes screws and zip ties. For me the adhesive worked great for everything but my front driver side, but quickly screwing the bar up did the trick. This most likely will depend on your vehicle and the materials used in them. In terms of brightness, my photos were taken during the daylight and depending on the color/s you use they seem to be pretty bright even when its light outside, and at night they show up even better, as you would assume they would. I would say my only issue I could see with these is that it seems they are made to go into a vehicle that has a center console with a cigarette lighter inside of it or near it to easily plug in and hide your wires away. My truck however does not have this, so my initial install had to have the wires running under my middle seat and then up into my lower cigarette lighter. Not a big deal if you don't mind it, but I wasn’t a huge fan of it myself. So far these definitely deserve 5 stars from me, they have many more pros than cons (and I wouldn’t say they have really any cons). If you’re looking for good interior lights that have addressable abilities, I would recommend giving these a try.

This is a "nice to have" and nothing more
My first thought was "I'm sending it back" when I sat in the car with the box in had. "This was a waste of money", I thought. Still I installed it which was very simple and not at all time consuming. And to be fair I havent peeling the tape off of the strips in the back because I havent figured out what/where/how to mount them seeing that most everything is covered in fabric under my seats in my 2003 Camry. I will figure it out I'm sure. The package comes with everything necessary to mount the strips (unless all you have is fabric) and the strips themselves are of very impressive quality and seemingly made to last. This is not some knock off of a knock off type product. The build quality is there. This is seen in the little remote as well which is sturdy and very solid feeling in the hand with nice measure of weight. You have your choice of how you want to control the lights. Either the attached control pad, the remote, or the Govee app and to be honest the remote and app seem a little far fetched. Because you have to ask yourself "Why?". Why would I pull out a remote in the car when I have the control pad less than a foot away? In what scenario would you find yourself using the remote outside the car where you would have to have all the doors to your vehicle open in order to see anything? Even if I lost my mind and fired up some rave music out back in the parking lot of a Walmart, crank the bass to just below earth shattering, and later decided to sing karaoke with random strangers, why in the world would I....well okay I see it just a little there. But the app is just a little bit more useful albeit still somewhat silly for this application. It does allow you to customize the lights to your liking and control your experience more directly as apposed to having to cycle through all of the effects to get to the one you want. But I just don't see it being a normal thing unless you have a very specific color or effect you like and that color and effect changes often. My kids love the lights. It's kind of not cool that they, the lights, are really not enjoyable until nightfall but hey, you know this going in. Well my 3 year old doesn't get it, but I'm sure she'll come around. I am pleased to display a hot pink in my car just for her. All the kids already like riding in daddy's car although it's older and not as fashionable as my wife's Mazda. But with this new addition I'm on the road for winning the parent of the year award.
