Excellent quality as usual. But wish I'd realised how big it is. Didn't occur to me that they did so many sizes! Also excellent value for money as usual. Have been using my Creuset pots and pans for decades and they still look good as new.

An excellent, sturdy multi-steamer that works across your 3-ply pan set - fitting pan sizes of 16-20cm in diameter. This is a really useful companion to the fixed size 20cm steamer, that works with 20cm saucepans/casseroles/stockpots (or the 24cm equivalent). At busy times like Christmas, when you're steaming multiple vegetables at once, having both of these to stack, or use on separate rings is real time saver. Although these are made for the Le Creuset 3-ply Stainless Steel Pan range, I expect they can also be used with other manufacturer's ranges - but that would need to be checked independently by a prospective buyer.

As you would expect, this is a well made item and should be good for many years.

Excellent- use very regularly

I love steaming vegetables and up until recently had been using a contraption I bought several moons ago that was well past its best. It was also plastic and plugged into the wall and took up way too much space. I invested in a 20cm Le Creuset Stainless Steel Casserole a few weeks ago as I love Le Creuset and wanted a general pot on the stove that I could do practically anything in - boil potatoes, make soup, make jams and chutneys etc...A quick browse on Amazon a few days ago and I spied this steamer unit, designed specifically for the 20cm casserole I bought (though it does fit the 16 and 18cm pans too) and decided to buy one. I was tempted primarily by the fantastic price it was available for on Amazon. Well, it looks good, is beautifully made and makes steaming effortless and much less messy than my old steaming unit. The fit on top of my 20cm Le Creuset Casserole is perfect and the quality is what I would expect from Le Creuset, exceptional. Highly Recommend, especially at the price I paid for it :)

This Le Creuset Stainless Steel Steamer has a graduated base to work with their 16cm, 18cm or 20cm saucepans. It has a generous capacity so will easily accommodate a few different food/vegetable items in one steam. The glass lid has a small steam release hole. Once the water has boiled and reduced to a simmer, it will typically take around 6-8 minutes to nicely cook a range of mixed vegetables, whilst retaining their flavour and texture. The steamer base is also of sufficient size to steam reheat a meal and works very well for warming through cooked/roasted meat without any drying out. Stainless steel is more difficult to clean when washing up manually but avoids the plastics in non-stick products. Baking soda or a propriety stainless steel cleaner will remove any stubborn marks. If using a dishwasher, the entire Le Creuset 3 ply stainless steel range cleans brilliantly.

As you would expect beautifully made and fit for purpose. Unfortunately for me it was too large for my needs but would recommend.

Trés bon produit. Il passe dans des casseroles petites et grosses. Le couvercle me sert pour d'autre de mes batteries de cuisine qui ont le même diamètre. Le tout à belle alure et j'en suis trés satisfaite pour mes cuissons vapeur. Je recommande.

Feels like they will last forever. Kept having to replace the bamboo versions

I replaced a smaller steam-cooker-layer (I don't know how this is actually called) from another random brand with this one and wouldn't go back. The larger size and transparent lid with a steam hole make the task much easier compared to my previous model. For those who claim that it get dirt: the method that works for me to clean stainless steel in general is to put vinegar on it for 15-60 seconds or so and then clean with soft white sponge (sometimes called "magic sponge"). It fits on my casseroles from other brands. (Note: I purchased this item when it was on sales.)

Love this addition to our le creuset cookware, matches perfectly. Handles on the steam basket would be helpful.
