Heavy duty, large-capacity bags with drawstring-style closure. The 38-count megapack contains two rolls of bags rather than one giant roll.I've used these trash bags for many years, but not for yard waste-- I line the large trash cans, kept in the garage, with them. Smaller bags of trash from the house gets tossed in there, as well as small waste: cat litter gets scooped directly in, trash from the car or outside, etc. The Hefty bags make it so the cat stuff doesn't stick to the can, and also contains any leaks, while keeping small trash from spilling when the cans are emptied.The 39-gallon size lets them fit both of my trashcans; 30 gal bags are too small, so I had to graduate to the lawn+leaf size. Despite the name, these bags shouldn't be used for yard waste in most areas; areas with composting pickup may prefer or require the use paper bags (and that's common sense anyway).I've never had a single bag rip-- not even having the drawstring rip loose when the bag is over-weight. The drawstring is tight enough, and the material heavy enough, to help contain smells if I neglect to put the trash out for pickup a couple of weeks in a row.I've also tried locally available generic equivalents of these bags, but the Hefty ones have worked better (especially as far as the drawstring goes). With this megapack and the availability of Subscribe & Save, these bags are both the best product and best value.

We got these on Amazon because our local store stopped carrying the 39 gallon size. This is what we use in our garage for our large trash can. They are the perfect size for our larger collection trash can and I like that they have drawstring that makes them easy to close before I carry them outside. These bags are a good price plus they are good quality.I just load them up with the weekly collected trash from around the house. I like the bags as they work well for the job that I use them for. I dump 6 or 7 smaller trash cans into this bag and carry it to the large curb side trash container. They have held up for us and I like them.We have used the entire box of these bags and we're are buying more. Not one bag tore or dripped. They are good quality and they worked well in our large trash container.We ordered more for our trash containers in the garage. I love the built in tie drawstring as it makes the bags so easy to close tightly when they are full.We have continued to use these trash bags as they are good quality and I like the built-in draw strings.I find these bags much easier to use than the cheap bags that do not have draw strings and are hard to close.Getting these bags from Amazon is less expensive than from our local stores.

I’ve been using these Hefty 39 gal “lawn and leaf” bags for years. They are top notch but I don’t use them for yard work. I use mine in a trash bag in the garage. I put all my larger items in these so I don’t fill up the smaller 13 gallon kitchen bags with boxes, used laundry detergent bottles, etc! I think I’ve had 1 bag bag(handle issue) out of HUNDREDS of these bags. I also like the box they come in as it makes it easy to dispense one at a time. Don’t change a thing!

In late Fall after leaf season, I buy up lots of boxes (in stores) - when they go on sale. They are 39 gallon, strong, and work really well in my "slim jim" tall kitchen trash can. These 38 count boxes are a great price, and the real deal. I put them on autoship so I don't have to invest a fortune in the Fall anymore.UPDATE: I suspect thinner (well less resilient) bags. I use these for my kitchen large Slim trash can to avoid any tears or holes. Since I never had holes before.... I suspect this box is a bit less strong.

Son débiles pero muy prácticas, no las podemos llenar con cosas pesadas, pero el volumen y las tiras que al jalarlas cierran por completo la bolsa, la hacen muy cómoda para limpiezas generales o como nosotros que la basura la recogen ciertos días de la semana y no diariamente.También sirven para proteger ropa de la humedad y aparatos que no se usan del polvo y humedad, muy buenas también para guardar colchas.
