We only use the highest quality, NSF certified filtration media in our shower filters. Winner of 2024 Novum Germany Home Improvement Award. We are always ready to help 24/7/365. Just send us an email or message through desertcart. We at weAQUA strongly believe that product quality is the main pillar of customer trust. We do not use painted clay balls, deceptive marketing tactics or pretty but useless terms like “magnetic energy”. 100% of the certified media inside weAQUA shower filters has a specific and verifiable job such as removing or inhibiting contaminants. Our only goal is to create the safest shower environment possible so that there is one less thing for you to worry about. Many shower filter suppliers use deceptive marketing tactics or lie to sell products. Terms like medical stone, ceramic ball, magnetic energy, and vitamin C suggest fake purification; they are painted clay balls with no function. Only 3 proven technologies exist for shower filters: Carbon for chlorine and some chemicals Calcium sulfite for scale inhibition KDF for heavy metals and most biological agents Activated coconut shell carbon consists of billions upon billions of pores in a single ounce. It works by a process called adsorption to permanently trap water contaminants such as chlorine, herbicides, pesticides and nitrates inside its pores. Calcium sulfite is a mineral that gradually mixes with the incoming water supply. It works by encapsulating the water scale and hardness molecules in a cocoon-like gel which will prevent it from sticking to hair or any surfaces that it may come in contact with. KDF is a filter media that is made of finely granulated zinc and copper alloys. When water passes through the media, it produces a chemical reaction of redox (oxidation - reduction). This chemical reaction kills biological agents and also changes the harmful incoming heavy metals into harmless, water-soluble compounds. Is this shower filter compatible with standard showerheads? Yes, our Heavy Duty NO BS Shower Filter is universally compatible with all shower types. No tools are required for installation, and it takes just 5 minutes to set up. You’ll have clean water in no time! How long do the filters last, and how often do they need to be replaced? Our shower filter cartridges last up to 6 months. We use 100% real filtration media (sediment, carbon, KDF & calcium sulfite) for a longer filter lifetime, ensuring you get the best shower experience without having to replace the filter frequently. Does the filter affect water pressure? Not at all! Our shower filter is designed to maintain zero pressure loss while providing high-performance filtration. You’ll enjoy a strong and invigorating shower with no reduction in water flow. How effective is this filter at removing chlorine and harmful minerals? The filter is highly effective, with 99% removal of chlorine, heavy metals, fluoride, and other harmful chemicals. It provides you with clean, purified water, whether you’re using municipal or well water. Is it suitable for use with well water? Absolutely! I had just moved to a new city and my hair started falling like crazy because of the hard water in my area. I was skeptical at first of trying this filter because ChatGPT essentially said if it’s not NSF certified it’s useless, but my hair was instantly soft after first use and hair fall has practically reduced to 0!
