The Gathering

I picked this series up on a whim, and I'm so glad I did! I have not read anything so good in a very long time! I would even venture to say they are better than the Hunger Games! I loved them because they kept me guessing, had a great story, and kept me thinking about the story long after I put it down! And, that is what I want in a story! I want to not be able to let the story go and really feel like I know the characters. Yeah to this author who came up with a very original idea and ran with it! I hope she keeps writing.

I just finished this series. Like Katie's brother, I hope these books become movies. I've read these books as much as possible for the past 5 days. Tonight as I finished book 3 I had tears because it was over- a reaction I've never had. (I admit I'm very tired from all the late nights reading.) These books are a MUST read. Thank you for the thrilling ride Katie! It was a roller coaster for sure, I laughed, I smiled, I was angry, I cried tears if sadness and joy and I was scared, very scared! Well Done!

LOVED these books. If you liked "The Hunger Games", you will LOVE Katie's "The Gifting" series! I couldn't put them down until the end!!

Such a great story from start to finish! The ending leaves you feeling hopeful instead of deflated. Great characters and plot line.

Loved the entire series.
