Mine are sparce and split as growing** A: Hi, Splitting fruit is usually the sign of too much water. Citrus do not like wet feet. Fertilizing at the wrong time can also cause splitting. Should be fertilizing before growing season starts, after fruit fall, and once lightly during winter. Talking pounds of fertilizer for aeach tree. Suggest research particular cultivar for specific timing for fertilizing and watering needs. Hope THis Helps. Regards, **Q: How often do I fertilize as we did not get any blooms on our jessamine this year which we planted a year ago and it had blooms then?** A: Often blooming plants, planted in bloom, need a period to acclimate to their new surroundings.Remember, most nursery grown plants are out in the open, feed heavily, and watered regularly. Suggest reading up on your particular plant, and follow recommended fertilizering schedule, problem 4 times a year, a pound or two for each plants. Hope This Helps, Regards, **Q: Both grow and bloom claim to help blooms. what does bloom do better than grow?** A: Nitrogen is the principal ingredient to promote green growth but to encourage blooming you want more phosphorus. I use Dynagro principally for my houseplants and orchids. - even some cactus. It's particularly useful for these plants because it's fairly low in the NPK (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) so you don't have to worry about "burning" their roots if you over fertilize. Most of these types of plants, like the orchids, are designed to do well on these lower fertilizer numbers. So DynaGro keeps my tender exotic plants healthy and blooming. Just follow the directions on the bottle. 👍 **Q: What concentration should I use to feed seedlings?** A: Hi, In our commercial orchid operation, we used 1/4 teaspoon per gallon for seedlings (Normal is 1/2 teaspoon for gallon). This product has no urea filler, so more pure nitrogen is available for use in growth. Excellent product, have used it for 20+ years. Hope This Helps. I was able to see visible differences in growth within a month. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic well named product! *by on Reviewed in the United States 19 August 2025* What a pleasant surprise this product turned into. A friend suggested another product by the same company, which looks identical but has a very slightly different name. Clearly, my reading glasses were fogged up and I bought the wrong one as I would never make a mistake like that ( okay maybe now and again). But this mixture has literally every plant in my house filled with new growth!!I had a weeping fig tree that was looking like it was going south. Since I started using this, i've had so much new growth with massive leaves that I can't believe it's the same tree! Same with my always finicky Calathea. I take it as a win when that plant isn't drooping or dying. In the last couple of months, I have 8 new leaves after never having a single new growth on that plant! And the starter African Violets, I bought a few months ago all have more than doubled in size. Two have buds out and are about to bloom. Honestly, I just used this until I could buy african violet food. But i'm not seeing any reason Ishould change. I could keep listing off plants, but they all are thriving. I typically fertilize every three or four waterings. And I broke the measurement down as best I could. I use sports water bottle, jars, and I put three drops in. I do this with my finger, and after I see two I dip my finger in this fertilizer, and then just dip that in the water bottle. Per the suggestion of a friend, I tried to let it sit overnight before using. This is one of the best mistakes i've ever made lol ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I feel like it plants are way healthier *by on Reviewed in Canada 25 July 2025* Love this stuff for my perennialsI found everything looks very lushFirst time user will buy again in the springAs a matter of fact I loved it so much I ordered it again and used up my new bottle already ## Frequently Bought Together - Dyna-GRO Gro-008 Grow 7-9-5 Plant Food, 8-Ounce - TPS NUTRIENTS Silica Gold Plant Strength Nutrient and Supplement with Bioavailable Silicon 1 Quart (32 oz) - General Hydroponics CALiMAGic 1-0-0, Concentrated Blend of Calcium & Magnesium, Secondary Nutrient Deficiencies Helps Prevent Blossom End Rot & Tip Burn, Clean, Soluble, 1-Quart --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/679452715-dyna-gro-gro-008-grow-7-9-5-plant-food](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/679452715-dyna-gro-gro-008-grow-7-9-5-plant-food) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
