Great little sub. I perform as a solo vocalist and on saxophonist to backing tracks. This sub gives me the low end I need to my tracks for that full sound (I only use one sub). I pair it with a Roland Cube and can add my JBL 12" if more reinforcement is needed This makes my set up very versitle. Has 2 channels for left and right stereo feed which allows me to go from my Roland Cube to the sub and then use the thruputs to add the JBL 12" (or 15" or any other powered speakers).

Edit: after several months of use I'm still happy. They do clip a little early but it's not horrible. The major flaw is the cabinet. If you don't buy covers, they are going to get chewed up. I purchased some plastic corners from Parts Express to protect them from getting crushed. The covers are heavy duty and protect them during transport. If I had a bigger vehicle and a better back, I would have gotten 18's. So I seem to be the first person to review these. Had a chance last night to run them through the paces on a gig. I paired them with 2 JBL MRX 515's which were being powered by my Yamaha EMX5016CF on the 200 watt per channel setting. TBH, there isn't a huge difference if I have the 500 watt setting on, I just seem to have a feedback issue then. So my first impression was that you can tell they aren't 18's" BUT the bass was solid and loud. I crossed them over at 80htz. My usual setup is 4 MRX 515's and just running two of them with these subs was a huge improvement on the bottom end. At 65 lbs, they are a bit heavy to load into my SUV, but I managed. For the price, you can't beat them. One con though is the finish. I ordered covers for them but I can see how they would get nicked up pretty easily. I just have to be really careful until the covers come in. I may add to this review as I have a gig coming up where I'll be running all 4 MRX 515's at full power with the subs which will be the ultimate test.

I upgraded from the Rockville 12" powered sub. This thing is easily twice and loud and twice as clear. Paired with the JBL 12" tops, this thing sounds fantastic! I'm glad I went with the 15" sub. It packs a powerful punch for this size package. I am extremely happy with this sub!
