Does what it claims. Best on a dual physical sim device.
4* for the physical esim, 5* for EIOTCLUB customer service, 2* for the included data.Popped the physical esim into SIM slot 1, moving my Smarty SIM to slot 2, and loaded the app. (The app will take a picture of the card, so you don't have to worry about entering long strings of numbers to liven it up). Then tried it - and it immediately connected to the 3 network. However, I only got about 1Mb/s download, couple up, compared to Smarty (also on 3) of 40Mb/s down and nearly 4 up. Websites are slow to load, so that was somewhat disappointing.I noticed that I couldn't get the app to look like what is on the pages here, nor could I load a third party esim. So a chat to customer services (within the app)...which was answered in seconds. "Hilda" did not have any suggestions about the low bit rate, but informed me there was a problem with the Google Play app, which they are looking at, so to download the apk from the website. Not particularly happy with doing that, but I don't do banking on my phone, so I would hope a low risk. Anyway, once this was done, I could see the correct screens and loaded a Keepgo Tucana esim (it doesn't expire, and it covers lots of countries around the world). This loaded happily and gave me over 40Mb/s on O2. OK, not the >100Mb/s we get on another phone with built in esim capability, but good enough, and gives me hope that there won't be a problem when we go abroad in a few weeks. So with the poor speeds and costs, I can't see me buying EIOTCLUB esim packages, but as a home for Keepgo esims on a dual physical sim device - brilliant!

How to waste your money
This item was very expensive and not working at all. You cannot use external e-sims and the in-built were very expensive and of terrible quality. They did not accept to return the item. Advise anyone against buying this

Great purchase to upgrade your phones capibilities.
Does the job as expected/described. Look out for combined packages as those could be cheaper than individual countries (e.g. Egypt is $10, 77+ is $7, inc. Egypt)

The physical esim
It’s a physical sim with built in esim options which is great for an old or not compatible phone, the sim worked straight out of the box and when I went abroad same thing plug and play just make sure that the roaming is on, one downside is that you cannot buy an esim package from another company and added to that Sim card

Virtual eSim, not an actual eSim - physical card that goes into your device. Data only.
This is quite a useful and interesting product, but it's a tiny bit misleading claiming that it's an eSIM - it's certainly not what you're thinking. It's a physical sim card that you insert into your device that replicates an eSIM's functionality by allowing you to add and remove accounts on that card, with up to 9 maximum at any one time. You get one account included with this sim card that has 1GB data (for US/Europe) or 100MB for anywhere else, all of which is valid for 30 days from activating the sim, leaving 8 slots for additional accounts. You can buy more accounts (or refills for existing accounts) through the app, and includes plans for most countries meaning you don't need to waste time hunting down a local sim card. These are data-only however, so if you need to make calls, you'll want to look elsewhere.I got this to use with my travel router, though I assume it should work fine with any other sim-accepting device. It was easy to set up and I get a good 4G signal. I also tested this with my 4G camera that I have sitting at the back of my garden and again, works with no hassle.I have yet to travel out of the country and have been using this around the UK with no issues, though I shall update this review once I go overseas as I'll be sure to test out the data plans!
