This base layer set of 100% Merino wool thermal underwear rocked my world and changed my views on wool. I ordered these because I spend time in the winter visiting my LDR in a state that gets far colder than my own. Last year I was there during the coldest week of the year. He lives in a drafty old farmhouse and we like outdoor activities.This set came in a very nice storage bag that snaps closed. When I pulled the pieces out I was amazed at the feel of the pieces. They were soft like a heavy knit silk is the way my mind described them to me. I remember thinking these will probably feel amazing, too bad I’ll only get to wear them up there. I left them out to try on. Later that evening I had the ac cranked down for bed but my arms were really cold so I decided to try the top on. I can’t tell you how quickly I felt surrounded by a cloud of warmth. I ended up falling asleep and sleeping through the night in it. I never was cold again but get this I NEVER GOT HOT EITHER, even the next morning after my mom raised the temp. I felt sure it was a fluke so I wore it the next tight as well. Same results, perfect temperature all night and morning. I’m so happy I’ll be able to wear these here in even the little cold we get.These pieces have a little stretch but they didn’t get way stretched out the way some thermals do. It was more like they flexed with me. I used their size chart and based on waist and hips ordered a M. They are true to size. I thought the top might be too tight because I’m busty but it fits fine. The care instructions call for wash on delicate cold, tumble dry low. I haven’t laundered yet but the quality of these leads me to believe there won’t be any issues, if there are I will update this review with that info.These are absolutely without a doubt the best thermals I have ever and probably will ever own! My budget won’t support $99 for another pair but if yours will ORDER THESE TODAY! You won’t regret it!I highly, highly recommend!
