Fill the moka kettle with fresh and low-limescale water to the bottom of the valve (not beyond). Fill the filter generously with coffee without pressing the coffee powder. Review: Well made. Not the cheapest, but beware of cheaper ones... - A very well made pot. I have another, different size from a different maker, and this construction is so much better. Does it make better coffee than the other, cheaper pot??? Not sure there's a difference, but the way I drink coffee (cup size esp - big enough for ¾ of a mug which given the strength is OK with me - and can always add water to make it bigger), this one suits me so much better than others. And it makes a far better cup than my French Press and Drip. machine. While a little more involving than those two, it is still very easy to use.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is it compatible with an induction hob?**
A: No you cannot on it's own. (Induction works on magnetism and will not work with Aluminium, as Aluminium is not magnetic). However, you can use this stovetop with a Induction Plate. This answer box will not let me put a hyper link in but I have included a full link to an example below. Or search on Amazon for 'Bialetti DCDESIGN08 Piattello Induzione Per Moka Induction Plate' .

I use an induction plate and woudl heartily recommend it not only for induction plates, but they help make the most effective use of rings on usual electric and gas cookers (I also use mine on my wood burner).

A very well made pot. I have another, different size from a different maker, and this construction is so much better. Does it make better coffee than the other, cheaper pot??? Not sure there's a difference, but the way I drink coffee (cup size esp - big enough for ¾ of a mug which given the strength is OK with me - and can always add water to make it bigger), this one suits me so much better than others. And it makes a far better cup than my French Press and Drip. machine. While a little more involving than those two, it is still very easy to use.

Oh my gosh Made Home made latte using pot, I brought this to save ££ on lattes I get from a cafe that disappoints me with the bitter taste However with the first sip from this pot I knew I had a winner So glad because the taste is so much more distinct but subtle not overpowering but flavourful I'm excited for mornings :) I've been to Naples, their pizza is amazing and olive oil too. To now see this, I feel grateful for the cratfmanship. On sale for £25 with 250g of ground coffee, couldn't be happier with how satisfying the latte was Didn't use their ground coffee as its number 8 in intensity - I'm wanting to sleep later on :) it's past 6 pm here while I drink tiny sips cautiously to not awaken the hormones responsible for alterness and preventing sleep :)
