Review: Gym quality equipment for use in the home. - I purchased the NordicTrack 2450 as an upgrade to my aging treadmill and having used it for a number of weeks I can honestly say I am not disappointed. My previous treadmill did not have the ability to add incline and I liked the idea of this feature in my next purchase. I did not fully appreciate the ability to apply decline in my running until using this machine and it is a feature I definitely recommend. At first I thought it would be an opportunity to take it easy during the runs, but I have found it works other muscle groups improving joint strength and balance. Due to being prone to injury I prefer using treadmills as they take the impact stress out of the runs. The 2450 is by far the best treadmill I have used for cushioning. The deck feels comfortable and as a heavy runner, my knees and hips usually feel the effect after long runs. I no longer suffer any discomfort in my joints due to its cushioning and this makes a huge difference with recovery. Delivery was faultless and the delivery team were very polite and accommodating given the difficulty of getting the machine into the room of my choice. Don’t get me wrong this is a very heavy treadmill. You will require assistance even if it is just to get it out of the box. Thankfully I have a teenage son and between the two of us we had the treadmill unboxed, assembled and set up in under an hour. The touchscreen and iFIT workouts were what attracted me to this treadmill and now I am hooked. There is literally something for everyone. Whether you are starting out or an experienced marathon runner this treadmill has it all. The beauty of the iFit workouts with this treadmill is that it is not just about running. There are strength and mindfulness workouts which add another dimension to this machine. Previously I would run to music but I have found the iFit instructors to be very informative and they take the time to explain technique and the areas you are running whether that be through the Rocky Mountains or the coast of New Zealand. The 2450 allows you to have the ability to listen to the guides as you run or connect to the apps such as Spotify via the machine as well. The 2450 automatically adjusts the incline and speed to match the terrain of your chosen run, but also warns you of any change via a beep if you are not follow the route due to being in another app such as Netflix. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend this product to anyone looking for a serious upgrade in their training equipment.

### ⭐ Utter Rubbish!

Utter rubbish. 1st Commercial 1750 broke 6 months into warranty . Motor failure. Replaced by Nordic Track with a new 2023 model with swivel screen. This lasted just outside of warranty period for screen to develop vertical lines making it unusable. Cost of repair will be almost half initial purchase! Certainly won’t be doing that as likelihood is it will only last a few months before it’s broken again! Should have bought Life Fitness!
