Review: I tried one or two other halo-style headset options for the AVP, but the Annapro was the most comfortable to me. It's also the most minimal, and leverages the strengths of the existing head strap from Apple. I use several different VR headsets for work, and without modification, find them universally painful to wear for more than 15-30 minutes. This head strap helps considerably, and I use it without the face mask entirely; yes, there will be some extra reflections in the lenses without that light seal, but it's worth it for reduced fatigue. The AVP is still a terribly heavy device, but this improves the ergonomics enough I'll happily use it periodically throughout the day. I've been using this for about half a year, and am still pretty happy with it! No signs of breaking or wearing down.

I tried one or two other halo-style headset options for the AVP, but the Annapro was the most comfortable to me. It's also the most minimal, and leverages the strengths of the existing head strap from Apple. I use several different VR headsets for work, and without modification, find them universally painful to wear for more than 15-30 minutes. This head strap helps considerably, and I use it without the face mask entirely; yes, there will be some extra reflections in the lenses without that light seal, but it's worth it for reduced fatigue. The AVP is still a terribly heavy device, but this improves the ergonomics enough I'll happily use it periodically throughout the day. I've been using this for about half a year, and am still pretty happy with it! No signs of breaking or wearing down.

Saw this strap recommended on reddit and decided to give it a try. At first, I didn't notice the difference to be honest, but once I installed the proper sized padding it made an immediate difference! Really happy that I decided to give this a go.
