I almost chose another version of these; until I saw the loop to hang these to dry, and fold them up with the loop to wrap around. These travel well and are great for everyday use! We love these for our kids

I love these because:1. They lay completely flat on the table and sort of suction there so they do not slide around.2. They are easy to clean.3. They are the perfect size for my table. I have a standard 4 seater round kitchen table, but sometimes rectangle placemats are too big and end up overlapping each other on the corners. These fit perfectly with no overlapping.4. You can also use these for arts and crafts since most glues won't stick to the silicone.

These placemats are awesome. The rubbery silicone composition sticks well to whatever surface you place them on (unlike laminated placemats, that'd easily slide out of place. They also "hold" items placed on them better than an ordinary placemat would. I don't have a baby, but I use these for my dog's feeding dishes. They catch little messes and spills (the subtle lip is a nice feature) and they stay put. Easily rinsed under the faucet when needed.
