Great little gadget for checking anything that requires a thermal camera such as pipework or for me, checking electronics. Doesn't use much battery life and after downloading the app, it's pretty much plug and play. The 96x96 resolution sounded small to me but it's not been a problem yet and definitely makes it cheaper which is fine for me since this was very cheap compared to the competition. I received yesterday and I am impressed. Recently I have had our decorator putting up thermal wallpaper and found that it has made a difference in areas that were clearly a problem. However, I was just taking at a guess where these problems were and before spending money having our bedroom done I thought that I would be more prescriptive. I used this in our bedroom and saw that the walls were not the problem but the ceiling! Its a 20 year old loft conversion and I think insulation materials were not so effective then. The picture i supply clearly shows the joists and the cold areas where insulation should be effective.

Was hoping to find draughts in the house with this to work out where to fill gaps etc. it worked well and showed the colours of cold and hot but not what I wanted to see regards draughts just where it was cold which is just common sense. Great item though for other uses I’m sure just didn’t meet my needs

Good value east to use

I have purchased first FLIR ONE, but it didn't really work. Then I ordered this one and it is spot on. No complaints and highly recommended.

Great camera, works well, but doesn't have a good enough resolution for working on circuit boards, components all appear as one big "blob" which isn't suitable for fault finding individual components.. I'll be returning it as that was what I purchased it for sadly.

So impressed with this piece of tech. Smaller than I expected but punches well above it's weight. Great value too. Smartphone or Tablet this kit does the job perfectly. The picture in picture feature is brilliant being able to see the same view from both the normal camera lens and FLIR is very useful. Highly recommend.

Simply doesn't work on Pixel 9 Pro XL. Nothing happens in the app when plugged in. OTG isn't a modern android feature, leading me to think this won't work on any modern phone. Avoid!

AGGIORNAMENTO: Dopo aver contattato amazon ho ricevuto la termocamera sostitutiva dello stesso modello che funzionava bene e non aveva il problema riscontrato nella precedente difettosa, aggiorno quindi la recensione scrivendo quello che ho riscontrato, e premettendo che non sono un ingegnere o un esperto nel campo. La termocamera in questione é sicuramente una entry level, ma per il suo prezzo fa il suo OTTIMO lavoro. La pecca più grande riscontrata é la risoluzione, e l’aspect ratio (quadrata). Ma se volete avere una vera termocamera e non spendere troppo, con un centinaio di euro ne potete avere una che alla fine fa il suo lavoro. Io alla fine ho deciso comunque di renderla per comprare una versione handheld più professionale, sempre della Hikmicro (la b01s) che ovviamente é parecchio superiore, ma costa 3 volte di più. Tirando le somme quindi: la versione mini a 100€ (circa) é ottima per piccoli rilievi “casual”, ed é una buona entry level se la risoluzione bassa non è un problema. Altrimenti andate su uno dei prodotto più di alta fascia sempre della Hikmicro (che si é rivelata essere un azienda molto professionale e attenta al cliente, il supporto clienti é ottimo e se avete qualunque problema faranno di tutto per lasciarvi soddisfatti). Vecchia recensione: La termocamera sembra funzionare bene, se non fosse che si blocca ogni 1-2 minuti (a volte anche dopo pochi secondi) e per sbloccarla devo staccarla dall'iPhone e ricollegarla, per poi poter fare altri 1-2 minuti di "osservazione" per poi bloccarsi di nuovo. Il massimo che sono riuscito a fare è 3-4 minuti. Sembra che si blocchi quando fa la calibrazione (non sempre, a volte riesce a farla senza bloccarsi). Sto scrivendo ad Amazon per la sostituzione, se il prodotto sostitutivo funzionerà correttamente correggerò la recensione.

Fonctionne très bien, je l'utilise pour réparer les cartes mères PC, pour trouver les capas en court-circuit. On branche la caméra sur le téléphone (nécessite une application), l'application se lance toute seule et est utilisable immédiatement. De temps en temps, il y aura une pose de 1 à 2s, je pense que la caméra fait sa calibration. Indique aussi la température du point le plus chaud.

Update: I'm updating my previous review after an impressive experience with the company's customer service. The initial product didn't work with my older iPhone, but the company promptly reached out and offered to send a new one to test. The new device works great! It's rare to find a company that cares so much about customer satisfaction. They went the extra mile to make things right, and it's clear they value their customers. I'm happy to recommend this product and company to others. Thanks to the team for their excellent service and for providing a great product that works as expected! Thank you ! When it works its fine (only had it for a day, so i cant say more than that). The major problem is working with older iPhones with lightning ports - you have do fiddle with the adapter to make it work and as soon as you move your phone it looses the connection again. I would not recommend this for older iphone users.

Pro: Ich fand beeindruckend, dass ich die Leitungsverläufe der Fußbodenheizung so toll sehen konnte. Den Handwerkern, die die verlegt haben, wäre es wahrscheinlich lieber, das wäre nicht möglich. Auch die Temperatur-Messwerte im Bild sind beeindruckend und - soweit ich das beurteilen kann - erstaunlich genau ( immerhin ca. 2-4 °C Abweichung, was ich aber bei einer kontaktlosen Messung aus der Ferne wenig finde ) Darüberhinaus ein nettes Spielzeug. So kann man z.B. sehen, ob jemand kürzlich auf dem Sofa saß oder so ;) Auch die Funktion, Fotos zu machen (Screenshots der aktuellen Anzeige der Wärmebildkamera) ist sehr praktisch. Contra: Ein Schwachpunkt ist der lightning adapter. Dieser ist mir einmal gebrochen / durchgeknickt. Daraufhin habe ich mir bei Amazon einen bestellt, der aber nicht mit der Mini-E-Wärmebildkamera funktioniert hat, obwohl ich extra einen ausgewählt habe, der laut Angabe auch Datenübertragung unterstützt und nicht nur Aufladen. Deshalb habe ich dann den Hersteller Hikmikro kontaktiert (direkt und nicht über Amazon) und die haben mir recht zügig für mich kostenlos einen Ersatz-mini-e lightning adapter geschickt, was ich widerum doch für einen tollen und nicht selbstverständlichen Service halte. Die App fordert beim Starten Internetzugriff, was ich so vom Bauchgefühl her bei diesem chinesischen Produkt nicht anschalten möchte weil ich nicht verstehe, wozu sie das braucht. Gut ist aber, dass die App dann trotzdem funktioniert, obwohl man mobile Daten / WLAN auslässt. Manchmal braucht die App kurz ein paar Sekunden, um das angeschlossene Mini-E zu erkennen.

Y el envío fue muy rápido desde que la pedí a tenerla en casa 24h. Es una cámara térmica que esta por encima de lo que esperaba, yo la uso para componentes de electrónica como las placas de tv de pc y se ve enseguida que componente se calienta en exceso, pero también lo he probado para ver por ejemplo las tuberías de agua caliente por donde van o también para ver en cualquier superficie que temperatura tiene, la calidad es muy buena y precisa, y hace fotos para luego analizar o también videos para ver que componente se va calentando, usa la batería del teléfono (el mio Galaxy s21ultra 5g) y aguanta para hacer bastantes videos y fotos de unas cuantas reparaciones, por el precio que tiene esta muy completa. Yo le doy 10/10. Las fotos son de una placa de TV.
