Review: Kittens love it - The first thing noticed on opening the bag was the strong fish smell. I feel pleased about this and confident of good quality, as I have never experienced such strong fish smells from other leading cat food. The kittens were driven crazy with the smell; they were trying to climb the kitchen units to get up to the worktop when they smelled the food. They don't react quite the same with the turkey flavoured pack. They purred their little faces off whilst scoffing wholeheartedly from their bowls so I am assuming it has the kitty seal of approval. I was surprised at how small the pieces are, they are small - smaller than the turkey flavoured pieces. I don't hear as much crunching, so am not sure their teeth are getting much of a clean. That apart, the food looks, smells and according to the boys, tastes excellent! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00CDHAAO4 | | Age Range (Description) | kitten, adult | | Age Range Description | kitten, adult | | Allergen Information | Fish | | Brand | James Wellbeloved | | Brand Name | James Wellbeloved | | Container Type | Bag | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 582 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | Small | | Flavor | Seafood | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05025838006135 | | Item Weight | 0.1 kg | | Manufacturer | GroceryLand | | Manufacturer Part Number | 401859 | | Model Number | 03JW4 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Occasion | Birthday | | Pet Type | Cat | | Special Ingredients | Seafood | | Target Species | Fish | | Unit Count | 52.91 Ounce | ## Product Details - **Brand:** James Wellbeloved - **Flavor:** Seafood - **Age Range (Description):** kitten, adult - **Special Ingredients:** Seafood - **Unit Count:** 52.91 Ounce ## Images ![James Wellbeloved Fish and Rice Kitten Food 1.5 Kg - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81pBNzpXxIL.jpg) ![James Wellbeloved Fish and Rice Kitten Food 1.5 Kg - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81rz6+RtrjL.jpg) ![James Wellbeloved Fish and Rice Kitten Food 1.5 Kg - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61vkS2WrkWL.jpg) ![James Wellbeloved Fish and Rice Kitten Food 1.5 Kg - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61m9B0682gL.jpg) ![James Wellbeloved Fish and Rice Kitten Food 1.5 Kg - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61K+lQLDXcL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ottime *by G***. on March 25, 2019* la mia gatta "selvatica" di giorno e "domestica" di notte, le mangia con gran gusto. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kittens love it *by P***S on October 17, 2018* The first thing noticed on opening the bag was the strong fish smell. They munch it like there's no tomorrow .. and to be fair, it smells quite strong, so it must be full of feline nice things rather than plain biscuits !! I often order the fish one, and the fish can be smelt from just holding the bowl let alone sniffing, no wonder the cats like it. This is my go to brand for training kittens to eat dry biscuits... sometimes I use just these, sometimes I mix in with more plain biscuits. I find when i use these their growth rate is good, i dont get straggly small ones. The biscuits themselves are small, and although dry food they feel they have an element of moisture in them. The kittens took to it straight away, and grew to a nice healthy size fairly quickly ... so from me and them, its a yes !! ## Frequently Bought Together - James Wellbeloved Junior Fish 1.5 kg Bag, Hypoallergenic Kitten Dry Cat Food - CATSAN Hygiene Plus Non-Clumping Adult Cat and Kitten Litter 20L, 100% Natural and Absorbent - FELIX ORIGINAL Kitten Mixed Menu in Jelly Wet Cat Food 40x85g --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/67850635-james-wellbeloved-fish-and-rice-kitten-food-1-5-kg](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/67850635-james-wellbeloved-fish-and-rice-kitten-food-1-5-kg) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
