If you arent going to name each iteam then your response is not needed** A: So, compared to the $65 gun/flare kit, it’s $25 for the whistle, mirror and bag. I’ve already got a great whistle, so maybe just the gun for me… **Q: What is the expiration date? Today us Aug 4, 2019.** A: The expiration date isn't based on the date you purchase this item. These items expire 42 months after the date of manufacture in accordance with Coast Guard requirements. Hope this helps... **Q: Is there room in the bag for a couple smoke and or hand flares?** A: Yes **Q: Can you use these off shore more than 10 miles out?** A: I would think there would be a larger model for that far out. This is about the size of a shotgun shell. I have never fired it thankfully but wouldn’t count on it to go high enough for what you asked ## Frequently Bought Together - COASTAL ALERT LAUNCHER KIT - First Alert Fire Extinguisher | Marine Fire Extinguisher, White, FE1A10GR, 1-Pack, 14" - Marine Safety Air Horn, Very Loud Handheld Fog Horn, Mini Compressed Can 1.4oz for Boating and Walking Safety 1.4oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/67849340-orion-safety-572-coastal-alerter-kit-with-whistle-signal-mirror](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/67849340-orion-safety-572-coastal-alerter-kit-with-whistle-signal-mirror) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
