I work at a shop that has a pretty austere restroom for staff use only. The manager keeps getting jumbo rolls of toilet paper, but we have a standard-sized toilet paper holder. It was creeping me out using rolls of tissue that were handled by everyone at the shop, so I decided to look for an industrial-sized dispenser for a single roll that would fit in our closet-sized restroom. This looked good, so I decided to give it a try.For some reason, I had the expectation that this would be made of metal. It’s not. It’s just thick black plastic, so I am not sure how durable it will be. However, the design is simple and straightforward. I like that you can leave it unlocked and use a pushbutton to open and close the unit. If you use the key, the opening is a simple triangle, so you can just use a flat-head screwdriver to turn the lock to open or close it if you want to make it more secure.This comes with four Molly bolts, four Phillips screws, a plastic key and a plastic mounting rack with adhesive backing. I didn’t want to use the adhesive mount, because it didn’t seem like it was strong enough, and it seemed hard to insert in the groove on the back of the dispenser. The wall seemed solid enough that I didn’t think the Molly bolts would be necessary, since the dispenser is lightweight. I didn’t have a drill to make holes big enough for them anyway.Even though there were no mounting instructions, I was able to figure it out. Here’s how I hung it up, using just a hammer, a nail, an ink pen and a screwdriver: 1) With the dispenser open, I held it up and used a pen to mark the spots where the screws would need to go in the slots at the back of the dispenser to hang it. (It’s a good idea to use a level to make sure it’s straight, but I didn’t have one available.) 2) I set the dispenser aside and used a nail a bit smaller than the screws to drive into the wall to make pilot holes, then I pulled it out of each hole with the hammer. 3) Using a Phillips screwdriver, I screwed the screws into the wall with about 1/8 inch of the screw protruding. 4) I carefully aligned the slots in the back of the dispenser over the screws and slid it down to lock it in place. 5) Finally, I inserted the roll of tissue, threaded it through the hole at the bottom of the dispenser, and closed the front cover. Viola! Easy.Now I don’t have to be grossed out imagining germy hands touching the roll of tissue. If I happen to have my cell phone or something else with me, I can set it on the flat top of the dispenser, rather than by the sink or some other precarious spot. Although I would prefer something made of metal that would last longer, this is better than nothing. The price is not bad, either, at a little over $14.

Goodbye to the traditional sized toilet roll holders and hello to the Jumbo Commercial Toilet Paper Dispenser! Typically not seen in a residential home...I was so tired of having to change toilet paper all the time I felt something like this would solve the problem...and it does! It is made of high quality plastic and I love the design of it. Surprisingly, it doesn't take up the space I thought it would. Fits the space and works perfectly! Highly recommend!
