Extra reach boom arm.
Just about every microphone boom arm I have seen has 2 articulated sections. This one has three! This gives it much more flexibility and reach, but it can also make it feel a little less stable when fully extended. My son has a very large table for his gaming set up and this suits him for clamping the arm into the back corner of the table and being able to move it to where he wants it.I left it to him to assemble himself but he ended up calling me for help - to be honest it was fairly easy to assemble. Pneumatic actuators on the arms would be better than springs but I guess this would make it a lot more expensive and a lot heavier. The cable clips are OK but not great and we ended up using some Velcro cable ties I had in a drawer for emergencies just like this. For the price, this is really good value for money.

Costs an arm but not a leg
Usually a decent mic boom for a table or desk is expensive and this one isn't and it shows. The articulated sections are just springs and the whole thing feels overly light and a little wobble prone. That said, it's not bad. It does work and do what you want it to do but don't expect it to be the most stable and robust. This will do the job but it's doing the minimum required. It's okay if this is your first time and you are just getting into streaming though if you can spare the budget I would suggest you invest a bit more.
