Perfect fit very sturdy and looks good

Attaches to the rear headrest struts on my Nissan Note with plastic hooks that are tightened with a screw on know. Doesn't quite cover the entire space between the car and the seats but prevents the dog from jumping over. I didn't use the additional extension pieces. It was a good price on Amazon, and similar cost to Halfords. I installed it myself. The instructions weren't great but it's fairly easy to figure out. It would be easier with an extra pair of hands. Recommended.

Really impressed with the guard. As you can see from the picture we mounted the side pieces up side down so they fit into the window recess. Works really well.

Having researched dog guards for our Land Rover Freelander 2 I found straight away that the cost for a factory fit was at least x10 this price so decided to give a try.After a super Quick delivery the assembly and install took me around 30 - 45 mins (I’m an Engineer so ok on the tools) as the instructions were rubbish to be honest. No tools were needed and after some fiddling and adjustments to suit me head rest widths success. I think I could now remove in seconds and refit in under 2 mins way quicker than the factory installs so very good.The fit is ok and does it’s job, we had to transport a 40kg giant breed dog (massif - Dane size) and the guard did its job. I do think that if the dog had been persistent he may have breached the structured so not totally convinced sturdiness would withstand the force of a large powerful dog but for 90% of breeds would work well.I would definitely recommend if you occasionally transport dogs of up to medium size but if you have large to giant breed and transport regularly then save up for vehicle specific guard especially from a safety view point.

Nothing to dislike, perfect for my purpose of keeping three small dogs in the car boot. Easily installed and looks tidy.

Not bad for the money not sure if it would stop a really determined dog

Have had this a few months now and it has been perfect. Really easy to fit with simple instructions.Fits directly to two headrest stems and extends to the width of the car interior.Good quality construction and finish. Prompt delivery and good customer communication when i had a questionabout the product.

The theory works and the item is easy enough to be assembled BUT it doesnt fit in my car even if I read all the reviews and it says it fits all. I have a BMW series 3 and the space from ceiling to bottom of headrest is much smaller than the height of this item so it pike down into the dogs space very badly + even the longest screws supplied are not long enough to connect and secure the mesh to the headrest making it simply impossible to install. Shall I buy longer screws myself and try to fix what is crearly not fit for purpose and maybe even put my dog safely at risk? No, thanks. So let’s return it: postage at my own expense! How much will that be for a bulky and heavy item such as this, what do you think?! Beware!
