It is fantastic to take traveling so you can print pictures along the way. I carted this around New Zealand on a 2 weeks girls trip so I could print pictures along for all of us and to put in my travel journal. & it held up the whole trip. The thing has paid for itself many times over at this point. The printing is easy thru the app and they come out great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Starting to make streaky photos EDIT::: here’s how to fix it::: *by on Reviewed in the United States September 11, 2026* A couple months of fun photo stickers in and it is making bluish streaks on Al the white space on prints now. Is it the paper? Possibly not bc it started that halfway through one pack and same on a new pack. Not sure if it will get better or just be doomed. Was great while it lasted and prints are still ok for darker photos.Edit: I read through several reviews and found one who had the same issues and recommended only using the printer on a full charge and using the first sheet of blue paper that comes with the new packs of paper to recalibrate the printer. Not sure how often that is needed but after doing that, prints are turning out great again with no streaks and the white space visible again! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love but glitchy sometimes *by on Reviewed in the United States January 9, 2025* I actually love this little printer. It’s easy use and travel with and the photo quality is actually pretty great.PROS:App is pretty cool, you can edit the photos and add frames if you want but another element to the photos.Small and easy to use.Perfect for scrapbooking, photos are about the size of a Polaroid picture, but a little smallerYou can print off duplicates unlike a PolaroidCONSApp can be glitchy sometimes. When I try to print a photo it just backs out and sometimes won’t let me print a photo at all unless I screenshot the picture and try again. It’s super weird..Only comes with 5 photos to start with, and you need to buy more. With all of that being said, if you’re thinking about it, get it. It’s a great price, and fun to keep and share memories. ## Frequently Bought Together - KODAK x Barbie Instant Smartphone Barbie Photo Printer - Portable, Color, Wireless - Zink 2x3” Sticky-Back Photos - Print from iOS & Android Devices with Fun Editing App - Iconic Style - Zink KODAK 2"x3" Premium Photo Paper (50 Sheets) Compatible with KODAK Smile, KODAK Step, PRINTOMATIC, 50 count (Pack of 1) - Elonbo Carrying Case for KODAK Step Instant Smartphone Photo Printer, Portable Mini Color Wireless Mobile Printer Travel Storage Protective Case, Mesh Pocket Fits KODAK Step Photo Paper Cable --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/678355442-kodak-x-barbie-instant-smartphone-portable-photo-printer-full-color](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/678355442-kodak-x-barbie-instant-smartphone-portable-photo-printer-full-color) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
