Near-perfect - now make a Jelly Max 2!
I was in two minds ordering this phone.Unihertz has a very poor history with regards to updates/security patches - and things are no different here. Basically, don't expect any security updates or Android 15. It's a shame, as they specifically stated in their KS campaign that it'd receive updates as & when required - but they've immediately reneged on it. No surprise there. However, the phone itself is near perfect. If you're a fan of small(er) phones, you'll love this. The feel in the hand is spot on. It's snappy, last ages on a charge (2 days, easily), has good signal on both 5G and WiFi and a pretty good camera, given the price.I've retro-fitted wireless charging because it's something I use daily. This can be done with a £10 dongle here on Amazon.Pro's:Size/depth feels very comfortable to hold - other manufacturers could learn a lot from Unihertz here!Snappy performance - It won't set any speed records, but it's no slouch either.Great battery lifeSolid 5G/WiFi signal strengths - the same can't be said of some others.Pretty good camera - takes detailed, clear photos. Video quality is OK; nothing to write home about.Virtually no unnecessary bloatware. There's the obligatory "toolbox" which nearly all Chinese phones have, but apps like Facebook, Instagram, Booking.com & random games aren't forced down your throat. From what I can see, there's no malware either... it's a clean Android skin.Rear-mounted fingerprint reader is great. It's lightening fast, accurate and almost never fails to scan properly.Con's:The screen (an LCD) doesn't get overly bright. I've asked Unihertz to consider a brighter panel or AMOLED for the Jelly Max 2, if there is one. Indoors, it's perfectly adequate. In sunlight, even if not necessarily bright, it can be difficult to see. The screen quality is good though; very clear with great viewing angles. No wireless charging natively. Though it's easy to fit, it'd be nice to have out the box.Not a fan of the transparent case, though that's personal preference. It hasn't yellowed (yet), but as most transparent cases do, I expect this will be no different. If Unihertz make a Jelly Max 2 with a better screen & wireless charging, I'd buy it immediately. If they started offering security updates, I'd recommend them to everyone.Right now though, unless you're security-minded and able to quantify the risk, I can't recommend it. Too many people have their entire lives on their mobiles; email, passwords, banking apps etc... and buying a phone you know is already outdated is too risky.

Impressive 5g smartphone
A great 5g smartphone. The battery life is really impressive. It charges fully in 30 mins but doesn't need to be charged much because it lasts 3 days with average internet use and a week with minimal use such as just emailing. The processor is fast and with 5 g connection great. The cameras are very good tooI'm really pleased with call reception and quality and an extra bonus is that it records calls at the touch of a button or automatically if set .Overall for the money 10/10.

Great small phone
Great small phoneCamera could be better, it's not great in low light. In terms of functionality I see no difference with the newer, bigger models of smart phones.
