Why did I buy a juicer?? because I thought I would cut them in quarters, toss the pieces into this machine, gulp down a lovely glass of orange juice. I wasted 3 oranges, they tasted worse than lemons, I NEVER waste food but nearly through up on the first slug, so down the kitchen with the rest. It is an incredibly low-quality, dangerous product that poses a serious health and safety threat to anyone who uses it.​Today, while operating the juicer normally, the machine's motor/mechanism generated enough friction or heat to actually melt the interior plastic components. Because of this weak design, sharp, hard plastic particles shaved off and were discharged directly into the juice we were making for our family.
