So far so good—they work
Before buying this product I read a lot of mixed reviews that I would like to respond to. 1) some complain these break easily if dropped or bumped. Yes, plastic gets brittle when cold, just be careful like you would be with glass. 2) yes, when cold materials are subject to sudden changes in temperature they might check. Use common sense and let the glass come to room temp before putting it into hot dishwater. 3) yes, plastic scratches, again use common sense and don’t use a rough scrubber to wash it. I just put a drop of dish liquid and water in the glass and wash it with my hand. 4) some complained about the inner rim/ridge. I don’t know how they are drinking from them because I can’t tell there is a rim there. I literally had to hook my teeth and lip over the edge of the glass to feel the inner rim/ridge with my lip. 5) yes, plastic isn’t as elegant as glass, but they are a very pretty contemporary design and being plastic works well for outdoor use/around a pool. The point is, you really don’t have to treat them differently, just gently—have not experienced any of the above durability problems. I have been using these about a month and have really enjoyed very cold martinis. I live in the south. It will be interesting to see if they stay frozen in our heat. I think they might make nice shrimp/crab/lobster cocktail bowls for dining alfresco. My critique: the insulation on the outside to keep your hands from getting cold could go up the glass a bit further, but who knows it might be nice to be able to chill your hands when it’s hot. They do take up a moderate amount of space in the freezer, but so do most martini glasses. I would buy them again. Plan on purchasing other freezable glasses from Host.

Great for travel
I freakin love these things! I have two at the lake and I bought two for a trip to Costa Rica this year. They pack well!! Don’t put in the dishwasher, handwashing only . they stay cold for a long time, easy to hold. Soft rim. Kinda perfect for travel etc. I love my martini so this was a great purchase.

Love the size and glass version, but only stays frozen for single drink
I'm a fan of Host product, but have avoided trying the martini glasses because the original design are a smaller size (9oz). I jumped at getting this new design when I saw they are a larger size... I like a big martini, and these are a full 10+ oz martini glass... not just a 10oz glass that doesn't really hold a full 10oz. I also love the new glass design to use with my martinis, and the fluid in the base keeps your drink cold to the last drop. The only reason I rate 4 stars is because this design doesn't use the traditional gel in the Host glasses, and contains a more viscous fluid which melts very quickly. It will keep your big martini really cold, but by the time you finish it, the fluid will be defrosted. Other plastic & gel Host glasses I have (margarita) will usually stay frozen for 2-3 drinks. It is also a little disconcerting the first time you use them as the fluid will start to bubble as it melts and it appears as if the bubbles are in your drink. It startled me to see my martini bubbling! Otherwise, I love these glasses. I usually frost my regular martini glasses but temperatures rise as I drink using a regular glass. These glasses keep your martini super cold through the last drop! If you can get past the bubbles and single drink use, I recommend these glasses.

Love these
These are fun.. just like a martini glass but sturdier design and insulated plastic..I’d like to see it hold a little more drink?.. lol..it keeps the cool ok when outside.. I just plop a cute shaped ice cube if you are outside longer..

These are fantastic! If cared for properly they last!
I love these!!! I love martinis but it was tough keeping them cold when we camped. I was hesitant at first after seeing some of the reviews about cracking but I gave it a shot anyway. I am so happy I bought them!! I use them every time we camp and want to get a set for the house now too because they keep your martini so cold! I never had an issue with them cracking when I froze them and I had even dropped them several times and had no issues. (I always hand washed them, always froze the upside down) However....my dumb butt made an error which caused them to crack. I took them ice cold from the freezer and tossed them in fresh, super hot dish water. They cracked. But honestly that's to be expected. You can't take something ice cold freezing and change the temp that extreme. I will be ordering another set for the camper and a set for the house. Totally worth the money, they work great and are really durable. Just make sure you care for them properly and you won't have any issues. Definitely worth the money!!

Your martini will not drift to warm.
Absolutely the best for martini drinkers. The drink stays cold. I have used these glasses for years and even the best attempts at cooling a glass cannot match the frozen properties of these glasses.

Not practical
Cute glasses, but not quite as practical as I hoped. Not dishwasher safe. They’re cute and easy to freeze to keep your drink cold, but the little lip at the top makes it a little awkward to sip from, and sometimes the drink drips when you take a sip. Also not so sure about the double wall, because I need to keep a napkin underneath it from condensation from the glass.

Good looking freezer martini glass that keeps my Margaritas cold.
Summertime means Margaritas or Martinis on the deck for me. These good-looking glasses keep the Margaritas cold without adding ice. Perfect for a hot evening on the deck. The silicone band is soft and comfortable and perfectly placed to hold the glass without freezing your hand. The key is to put them in the freezer upside down so the frozen gel reaches all the way to the brim.

They Look Great But Shatter And Scatter When Dropped On A Tiled Floor
Bought for my daughter who loved them and used them almost every day. Really nice good quality elegant looking freeze glasses. I thought the martini glass was the best looking of the lot. Unfortunately, today, one fell out the freezer (because it was stacked upside down on top of the other one and had fallen slightly sideways) when the ice bucket in front of them was taken out. They don't react well when frozen to hitting a hard surface and so a large part of the lip broke off. So I will order another set and although they don't hold that much and it would be nice if they did, both of us would recommend them to anyone. The only other thing worth mentioning is that they are an awkward size/shape. To have two in a freezer at the same time and if you do have them upside down, on top of each other like we did they could slip sideways, and then fall out the freezer door when you open it LOL. Apart from that they are really awesome.

waste of money
Plastic, so it doesn't feel nice to hold. Freezing part is not that helpful :(
