MIXC Portable Steam Sauna Box – My Honest Take After Sweating It OutAlright, I picked this up during one of those “I need to reset my body” phases—between long work weeks, late nights on the laptop, and trying to stay on top of my health without driving to a spa… this MIXC Portable Steam Sauna was a game-changer.First impression: Super easy to set up. No tools, no crazy instructions, just unfold, zip, plug in the steamer, and go. Took maybe 10 minutes from box to steam. The tent material? Surprisingly tough. It holds heat better than I expected and doesn’t feel like a cheap pop-up tent. Also—bonus—it doesn’t stink like plastic after you run it a few times. I ran distilled water through it the first few sessions and let it air out.The steam generator gets hot fast. I was sweating within 5–7 minutes. You get a real full sweat session in like 30 minutes. You can adjust the timer and heat levels easily, and the safety shut-off gives peace of mind if you forget to turn it off (yeah, that happened once…).It folds down easy too—fits in a corner in the closet. And the included chair is okay. I swapped it for a small camping stool I already had, just for posture. But hey, it works.I’ve been using it a few nights a week—especially after work or a workout. This sauna is awesome! It was easy to put together and works effortlessly. The pot connects to a small box inside where the steam is released from. You can put essential oils in it or fresh herbs. The only thig I don't understand is the CHILD SIZED chair that comes with it. I am 5'7" and I can stand inside with no problem. Why they included a chair that is only a little over a foot high is a mystery to me. I use another chair with no problem. It's great for your skin and hair. I feel so refreshed afterwards! Where has this been all my life!!

Ease of setting up was great. Size good and works as advertised and sweat is a definite. The seat was a little small and the window was too high to see outside when you are sitting in the sauna. Need to put a towel in the bottom but the wife and I enjoy it just the same.

I really enjoy this sauna, it works great very convenient. It heats up very quick and it gives you a great sweat. The space with the chair is perfect I love it and recommend it, its a good price for what you get.

Update! I had my steamer plugged in to a heavy duty extension cord due to the distance needed. While using the steamer it shutoff. Turns out I had tripped the breaker. I didn’t initially think about it too much, thought it was a freak accident. Anyway later that day I went to unplug the steamer from the extension cord so I could clean everything. To my surprise, I could NOT unplug it from the cord!! I tried and tried and finally used a screwdriver to separate the two and the resulting picture shows what happened. The prongs from the machine were fused inside the extension cord. Thank God this didn’t create a fire!!!! Not happy!!! Stay clear!So, I use this in my garage which maintains a temperature of 60 degrees. It took the steamer 10 mins to produce the first signs of steam, and within 15 mins it was ready to enter. I used it a total of 55 mins and it reached 99% humidity and 97 degrees. There. Was still water in the steamer so it would have kept going.In all a very nice product, especially for the price. Easy to assemble and easy to use. Two minor drawbacks, first, the zippers are a little tricky given the flex in the product, but not terrible. Second, it would be nice to have a pouch or something inside to hold things (like my glasses). Other than that, no complaints!

So far so good. Assembly was easy, be careful with the plastic links as some required a little force. Best advice is to clean the inside, which makes it easier. Snugged. But still a little loose. Once assembled, it stays. Heater takes long to warm up, about 20-minutes with distilled water. Hot. But, not as hot as a sauna. Not expected for a portable unit. Maybe 100-degrees tops. Steam is very excessive, which is great. Be careful not to touch the steam unit as it is hot!Negative, needs to include a better hose and a full length hose for us to cut. They included 2 (one short and one long), which is perfect for some. I needed to tuck mine in the corner and I needed a longer hose. Plus the hose isn't good quality. After a few sessions, the hose bends and a couple of times, the steam stopped. I went to Home Depot and bought reinforced hose, which costed more money. But it prevents this from happening.Overall, descent unit for a descent price. Social Media posts these expensive home Sauna units and they fail. This is reasonably price and a good starter.

Was given this for Mother’s Day’s and I love it. I don’t feel claustrophobic using it. Going to get one for my daughter’s birthday next month.
