Bought this without doing a lot of research on the different types of foam rollers but am still pleased with it. It's very firm but we have another that is softer so it's perfect for my husband and I. I am a runner and my husband lifts weights and we can both use it. I would recommend it to someone who already has good overall muscle tone and will be building more muscle. For beginner gym-goers, get a softer one.

I like this idea of being able to release my own tension, but this thing is not magic. I know these rollers might help some, but controlling the intensity is key. This one is really short, which is OK for me because I'm short. But the instruction "manual" is nearly nothing, just a few pictures. There is no direction about technique. I think this will end up in my closet very soon

I wish I had purchased the longer roller as it is not long enough to use lengthwise to lie on and support the head and lower spine. But other than that, it does the job. I bought a video with it which really was essential.

My Chiropractor suggest I get one of these. I ordered this and found the roller quite dense and it's a tad difficult to use but maybe it will soften up with use. Here's to hoping it either softens or my body hardens to it's use.

After a year or two of use it is starting to pack down in the middle where my leg usually goes. But I like the firmness.

Good roller for exercising. Durable and suits intended purpose. IMO a bit pricey, but didn't find any like decent quality product for less. Guess its price is the going rate.

This product really helped me increase my flexibility and worked alot better than I expected. I added it to my daily routine and my tendons thank me for it every day.

Even at 1/2 the price I would haave returned it. It is half the lenght of a normal foam roller making impossible to stretch ones back laterally.These reviews are stupid. A minimum number of words required?Customercentric company, Amazon who are you kidding? This kind of bull, items shipped without packing slips making it a major task to match credit card charges to purchases.Bottomline: Don't buy this from anyone; buy a full size one from a local store and avoid the hassel of dealing with Amazon.
