This product came vacuum pressed to reduce postage costs, so they arrived flat. You need to soak them in water and dry them before applying them to whatever you want to apply them to.Unfortunately not many people understand how this material work and they don't bother to read the instruction!All ordered foams expanded after soaking and drying. They are thinner than expected even after the process, but they did somewhat reduce the echo that was obvious in my office before. You need a lot of them if you want them to be more effective. I'm sure there are better similar products out there, but for the price this was worth it.

Be aware that the double sided sticky pads supplied to stick these foam pads to walls do NOT stick to the foam. They stick to the walls (and in fact multiple surfaces) but not the foam. Even after following the instructions precisely, the foam pads fell off the walls within minutes. I ended up using gorilla tape. The foam pads themselves seem adequate, but when there are cheaper options to buy that aren’t labelled as “self adhesive “, I would go for those. Don’t pay extra for something that doesn’t work.

applying and sticking the foam to any wall is one thing but it to hold on for more than 30 mins is saying to much as it will just fall away from the stickers given let alone not doing much for sound dampening.save your money and dont buy!if i could give a zero i would!

These acoustic foam panels arrived vacuum sealed and require most of the day for them to expand to their original size. You can soak them in water and dry them out for a better expansion, but it takes longer to dry them.These are an extremely easy and cost-effective way to reduce echo in a room as the foam panels absorb the noise. They are lightweight and I found them easy to install on to the wall with some spray adhesive. There was a difference with the sound in the room and they seemed to improve clarity in the audio. These panels are reasonably thin which means that they are more effective for higher frequencies where thicker ones are more for absorbing lower frequencies.Overall, these are reasonably priced and offer reasonable noise reduction for their cost.

The panels themselves are fine but we put them up today using the sticky tabs provided and they all fell off within 10 minutes. Admittedly these are half the price of panels with self adhesive strips on the back but annoying that we spent time (that we really haven’t got!) putting these up, only to watch them all fall down again. Supplier needs to either provide better adhesive or make it clear in the description that additional adhesive might be required.
