I've tried them all. These trays are the most sturdy, durable, and highly breathable. The size is perfect for starting smaller and medium sized seeds (if you're planting large fruit seeds like peach, I would go a size higher). My seedlings are doing very well, and the self-pruning edge system is just perfect for letting those seedlings ride. If you haven't checked out the Epic Gardening and Epic Homesteading youtube channels, I highly recommend them. I learned a lot from these guys! They are dedicated to their craft, and they are making high-quality products. Highly recommended.

These are my favorite seed trays I've ever used and I've used a lot of seed trays over the years. They are made of a thick, sturdy plastic that will clearly last for many years to come. They have nice side slits that make under-watering a breeze. The finger holes mean you can pop each seedling out easily without disturbing its roots. Highly recommend!

These are kinda pricey but they are worth the price. These are 3 times more sturdy than even that other premium brand. The biggest plus though is the comparably massive hole in the bottom to help extract seedlings with minimal disturbance to the seedling. This may sound trivial but it's not. Most any pot can grow a seedling. Getting them out when the time is right to plant is another matter. For anyone (everyone?) who has mauled seedling trying to get them out of the seed pots....these are for YOU! Tip: Pack your seed starting mix slightly into the bottom inch or so of the pot to make a little dense plug at the bottom. This helps keep your mix from falling out the large bottom hole.

Absolutely love these, the six cell is the perfect size for starters and they fit snugly into a 10 x 20 tray so no spaces wasted. They are super solid and really well-made. The hole is nice and big (I could easily fit my sausage finger in) and slits in the side are really an excellent design. You can stick your finger in the hole and pop out the seedling plugs with no problem and bottom watering is fast and easy with the additional slit and large hole. These are worth the $ and will last for years.

Great starter trays, deep, well designed with corner water inlets. Most importantly the large finger hole in the bottom to poke the seedling out easily without damage. I bought these because I wanted to support Kevin as he was one of the reasons I got into gardening and stuck with it due to his videos and when I got them I realized they're going to outlast me, they're super sturdy. By buying these and a light I was just trying to pay him and Jacques back in a small way for the encouragement but Epic is actually selling high quality items and I'll certainly get more. These are sturdy, high quality trays and I bought two sets. My issue with them is, they don't come with a bottom tray (have to buy them separately), and they also do not come with humidity domes. The Epic humidity domes are hard to find, and cost almost $40 at their website! Once you add up the not-included items, the cost really adds up, I ended up getting a third-part seed starter tray kit (ASIN B07R9S38VX), and used their trays and humidity domes with the Epic seed trays.

Great product. It will last for years and easy to grow and get the plants out of the pots with the finger hole on bottom and the air pruning slits help from getting root bound

I'm a beginner gardener. so I ended up doing what I guess most do when they go to a big box store, and purchased one of the seed starting kits with the peat pots. A big mistake. My first set of seedlings sprouted fine, but soon after mold started to develop on the trays. Not only did that end up killing them off, but it seems I have a very bad allergy to mold. So I had been watching YouTube videos from epic gardening and ended up looking at their products. So I decided to go all in and ordered the works that included lights, trays and these 6 cell starter trays, and they've exceeded my expectations. The sturdy construction ensures they won't bend or crack, even after multiple uses. The large drainage holes and side slits make transplanting seedlings effortless and promote healthy root development. And best of all no MOLD! They fit perfectly into standard 10x20 trays, maximizing space without any gaps. and I could leave the seedlings in till they were a decent size before up potting. Overall, these trays are a fantastic investment for any gardener looking for reusable and efficient seed starting solutions.
