This emergency kit is great. It has everything you need to evacuate in an emergency (except a change of clothes) or to shelter in place. It tells you that the food and water expire in four years so you can put it away and hopefully will never need it. It is small enough for a young one to carry as well. I’m very glad I purchased it.

It's always a good thing to have a Go-Bag ready and in the waiting, and this Ready America 72 Hour Deluxe Emergency Kit has everything I was looking for. I'll supplement it with my own list of emergency contacts, my medications, some extra water and a roll of duct tape - and then will be good to go if the need arises ! Thank You Ready America :)

Very practical and conveient.

We do emergency planning for a living. This bag contains most of the items recommended by FEMA for 3-day emergency survival. It does not contains the NOAA radio; which can be and should purchased, separately. Yes, it is lightweight; but, 'to-go bags' are designed to be lightweight in-case of an immediate evacuation. I was expecting a bigger bag, but after examining the neatly and tightly, packed bag, I realized it was meet the standards required necessary for one person with some room for additional items such as important documents. (You will also need to purchase a water proof pouch.) We plan to purchase additional bags for our vehicles. We have also looked at other vendors for product comparison.

Even though in the further down photos it shows some heavier duty gloves, mine didn’t come with any (only the medical ones), and the headlamp is pretty low quality, the cap for the batteries is super hard to get off, I broke the wires to it just trying to get it off so I could put batteries in. Otherwise it’s pretty good, I’ll have to buy a new headlamp and heavier duty gloves though.
