This is a very functional piece, as I added a spinning mechanism on the bottom (also from Amazon) to create a "lazy Susan" for my dining table. It holds napkins as well as the salt and pepper shakers. It's very pretty and sturdy, and I am happy with the purchase. For the price, it's a good value and a lovely piece!
