Great Saw
This saw is beautifully made and works like a dream. Cuts through material like butter. You just need the lightest pressure, at first I put too much and it would catch, that's when I learned to lighten up. It's my first time using Japanese saws, so I can't really compare it to others. The grip is comfortable and the saw is light. I'm happy with my purchase!

Love these Saws
I bought the smallest trim saw and after using it on a project I went ahead and got the others. These are great saws for woodworking. Easier to use than standards saws and take a lot less time to get right. Genuinely pleasant to use.

Excellent saw - could have a better handle.
Excellent saw but it could have a more comfortable handle. I suppose there are many ways to hold this saw and therefore they made a handle that is symmetrical and with the most comfort for many uses. I just finished my first job with this saw and it took a couple of hours to get the feel of it. I really liked the accuracy, thin kerf, and how quickly it cut through hard oak. As someone mentioned the short tang in their review, I didn't find that as much of a problem, at least not yet. I bought both the rip and crosscut blades and will switch between them as I feel the handle is overpriced when compared with just buying the blades. SUPERIOR cutting!

Phenomenal saws from a phenomenal company!
If you shop Japanese pull saws, you know there are endless low-cost low-value products out there. Temple Temple Tool Co is not some reseller or mass producer. These saws were meticulously designed by people who use them every day. It really shows. They have mastered the low-cost aspect, while providing an excellent high quality tool. I have only made a few cuts with this bad boy, but I can already tell it's going to be a new favorite. I particularly enjoy all of the education they provide around each saw, and its recommended techniques. Would give the company and product 10 stars if I could!

Very precise cut.
I have a set of 6 inches Gyokucho saw that I have been using since I started woodworking a year ago. Most of the blades worn out so I bought these as a replacement and of course for the look. I love the wood/metal/brass because I go well with my other tools. As soon as I use them, they became my favorite. The weight of this saw is well balanced, the blade is very sharp and it cuts very well. It is easier to cut since it is heavier than the 6 inches Gyokucho, thus I do not have to apply much force on it and the result is more precise cut.Got it 20% off so it is good price as well. Will come back for the blade later.

Great saw
Really nice and comfortable saw. Package was great, arrived on time, high quality. I was following Third Coast Craftsman for quite some time on YouTube, glad he started his own line of Japanese tools.
