I don't know why but my mouth is like the desert. My gums are sore, my lips are red and sore so I got this product. I'm always dubious of claims, but I can tell you my mouth felt great all night. It's worth the money in my opinion. I think it will be value for money as a little goes a long way. You can also apply to your lips to help keep moist. Not too strong a taste, ie not minty.
