This is a great recording device - it is small, easy to operate, and works well - picking up my voice very clearly. If it were just a recorder that would be good; but it is much more than that. Downloading an app to your phone enables the recording device and phone to 'talk to each other'. Audio files can be transferred easily (no wires needed) and speedily from the recorder to my phone. From there files can be shared, or transcribed and summarised. The very generous 1800 free minutes a month is more than enough for my needs. The transcription and summaries and mindmaps can also be shared easily - so nothing is locked in the app. I was sceptical whether this product would match the much more expensive competition, but it does a lot better than I anticipated for a very reasonable price. I also needed to contact customer service for help and got a personalised and speedy response to my question. I have no qualms in recommending this product, and, in the unlikely event of anything not working as expected you will find first class help from customer support.

As a health professional, I've been using a dictaphone from the time of the horse and cart and my subsequent battles with tapes in these were legendary. Enter the FOCASE AI recorder and this has been a complete game changer. Easy-to-use out-of-the-box without any pfaf and it pretty much hits the ground running from the first moment. The transcription is intuitive and the quality of output is excellent. There are heavily promoted items on the market right now and which are much pricier and which also comes with hidden subscriptions which locks one in. With this device, one gets a generous 1.8k minutes pm allowance which should be sufficient for average individual and, even if one has to take out a subscription, it is relatively inexpensive. As for the device itself, it's well made, eminently portable and pocketable and extremely easy to use even for someone who may not be tech savvy. Such is my confidence with this that I have bought three of them for use by colleagues. In short, look no further, this recorder is understated but highly rated and is most definitely very much recommended. Addendum (23/06/25): I had a slight technical problem with the recorder and was most impressed by the support offered by Lily from their support team. Apart from the promptness in their response, was their kind offer to expeditiously send me a replacement which they did. I have now used this recorder for about 3 months almost daily and can confidently say that has helped enormously with my letter/report writing, capturing interviews and has most definitely increased the level of my productivity. This is cutting edge stuff. Highly, but highly recommended. (Ps. I'm not being paid to do this review)

I picked up this recorder app hoping it would simplify my meeting workflow and ease transcription into ChatGPT. For the first couple of months it worked really well: clear audio, smooth interface, and I could reliably record meetings then export for transcription. It genuinely felt like a “set-and-forget” tool I could depend on. Then, after roughly three months of usage, it suddenly stopped working. The recording just wouldn’t start. I uninstalled the app, re-installed it, rebooted my phone, checked permissions – nothing helped. I tried reaching out to support but found the process frustrating and slow, and I didn’t get to a definitive fix. Because I had grown dependent on it (especially for transcribing conversations), the failure hit me hard. In short: great for a short run, but unreliable over the longer term. If you’re looking for something to become a core part of your workflow, I’d be cautious – and definitely consider exploring other brands or apps that give stronger support and longer-term reliability.

I purchased the FoCase Note AI Voice Recorder a few months ago and found it to be an incredibly useful tool for my work. I use it regularly for meetings and for recording notes to transcribe later, and it quickly became something I relied on every day. Unfortunately, mine developed a glitch that couldn’t be resolved through the usual reset steps. I contacted the support team, who were excellent — they checked the situation and arranged a replacement without any hassle. Since then, the device has been working perfectly again. I’ve recommended it to several colleagues and contacts, and they’ve all been pleased with it too. It’s a great little recorder with genuinely helpful features, and the customer service gives extra confidence in the product.

I got this as a wildcard experiment, mainly beside I had a gift voucher and always wanted to try. It’s been a shrouding success and it’s saved me a fair bit of typing fairly easy to use and locks on to the back of my iPhone file. Helped me to take notes and a few other things quickly.

After trying two other voice recorders from Amazon and having to return them because I couldn’t get the recordings onto my iPhone properly, or they just didn’t work, I decided to give this one a try. I wasn’t sure at first, but I’m really glad I chose it. Setting it up was so easy. Once I’d downloaded the app, it connected to my iPhone in no time and transferring recordings is really quick. I tried out the transcription quickly and it was accurate ! I love that it’s all done wirelessly, so there are no cables to mess about with. You can see how much battery you have left once connected to app too. The recorder feels well made, looks smart and is easy to slip into my bag. I also like that it gives a little vibration when you switch it on and off, so you know it’s working. Also you have the option to turn the light on or off when it is recording. Also you can turn voice activation on and off easily in the app. The sound quality is very good. One thing I was disappointed about at first was that it didn’t come with a protective pouch, but when I contacted customer support to ask about it, they explained that they no longer include one. They couldn’t have been more helpful and their customer service has honestly been excellent. Every email was friendly and they replied very quickly, which made a real difference. Overall, I’m really pleased with this recorder. It’s easy to use, records well, transfers files to my phone without any fuss and offers great value for money. If you’re looking for a voice recorder that’s straightforward to use and backed up by a company that genuinely cares about its customers, I’d definitely recommend it.

So this device works as advertised however, the chat gpt4 is an internal subscription service anyone need transcribing or summary over 1800minutes per month will need a internal subscription model. I imagined I could just add my chatgpt service, not subscribe to another one. If you're ok with this then this is a great device. Depends on your use case. For me 1800minutes a month is not the right usage model. Compared with the more pricier models this will be what you pay more for no doubt. For the price point this is excellent, just make sure you know what you need first.

Excellent little device that records clear audio and makes transcribing meetings and conversations quick and accurate. The AI summaries save a lot of time to prepare brief minutes and the app is easy to use. Battery life has been good, and the recording quality is impressive for such a compact recorder. Highly recommended.

仕事用に購入しました！ 添付画像の通り、手のひらサイズで 持ち運びに便利でした。また、ユーザーマニュアルがついており、簡単に操作することが出来ました。AIによる文字起こしや要約が仕事で使うのに効率がよく活用できました！

Ottimo dispositivo. Funziona bene, fa quello che dice. Ha l’intelligenza artificiale, quindi da un discorso di riconosce le persone, fa una trascrizione del testo, un riassunto preciso e una mappa mentale. Pazzesco!! Ho registrato un colloquio di 30min ed ha capito di cosa stavamo parlando, ha evidenziato le varie problematiche, i punti più importanti, le considerazioni!! Ottimo acquisto, considerando che l’alternativa costa € 169
