And have that for lunch.My favorite jerky used to Be World Kitchens teriyaki; but they do not use as good cuts of meat they used to use so I tried it.One thing I don't like about this jerky, the flavor isva dry rub. I prefee a wet marinade that soaks into the fibers of the meat.I see many people complaining that they like a moister jerky. That moist jerky is not real jerky. That is ground hamburger and not dried completely.A good dry jerky will keep up to a year stuffed in a Ziplock bag.If they don't like dry jerky they certainly would not like the jerky I used to make because I dried my jerky until it was as dry as I could get it.Here is the recipe for the marinade I used on my jerky. I think it had a good balance of fire and sweet.In a bowl mix and stir.1/4 cup (60 ml) teriyaki sauce1/4 cup wine ( optional)1 tsp (5 ml) white pepper1 tsp salt1 tsp tobasco sauce3 tbls (45 ml) brown sugarStir well and put strips of beef in the marinade to soak 8-12 hours.
