AMAZING Peanut Ball uses -- please try this at home!
I had a peanut ball years ago and loved it, but it got lost in the moves. I was thrilled to find them on Amazon at such a great price, so I bought both sizes (this one and the smaller one). I use them quite differently than anything I have ever seen them used for.PLEASE DO THIS AT HOME:::I blow up the peanut about half way, put a (queen size) pillow case on it before it gets too bid, then fill the peanut to only about 70-80% (so the peanut can form perfectly to my shape and "hug" my lower back). With the pillowcase on the ball, I can now use it in my bed for sitting up as a back pillow (it kinda wraps and holds the back and feels so wonderful), put it under my knees to gently work my legs in bed (helps reduce leg swelling and improve circulation), put it behind me when sitting on a couch and do gentle movements (moving lymph), and when I need to stretch my back gently I can lie across my bed with the peanut under my shoulders, PLUS dozens and dozens of more uses and positions...As I move or wiggle in any direction, the peanut moves with me and I never get a sharp corner or run out of pillow and have to reposition. (When I cough I even get a little massage as the ball gently wiggles!) I have had back injury, car accidents, abdominal surgery and general life wear and tear on my body. I have to go slow with all treatments and approaches, and they can be so very expensive. The peanut is the most amazing comfort tool that I use in so many ways to help my own situation -- and I can do it at home with no additional costs. With this amazing peanut ball, I can use it for comfort as well as a wide range of self-therapeutic work. It pays for itself every day in my house!AS A GIFT: I already gave one to my 70 year old aunt who just had shoulder surgery and she cannot move around much yet (shoulder still in brace). When I first showed it to her, she looked at me like I had three heads (thinking I was playing a trick on her). (Actually she thought I had food - peanuts to give her -- and was even more disappointed when it was not edible). In front of her I inflated it and put her favorite pillow case on it, and then she reluctantly sat on the couch with the pillow behind her butt. (I knew if it didn't work for her I was going to get the bozo of the month award - but I knew all I had to do was to get her to try it.) Sure enough, she absolutely loved it & I am NOT the bozo of the month. Getting comfortable in bed is now possible (and with very little effort getting in or out of bed). She has already called me three times to tell me how much it is helping and how she is using it (and laughing at how she thought I was crazy to even suggest sitting on a peanut = peanut-butt-her)! One BIG problem though: her grandkids are taking it and using it in the TV room to get comfortable or play on the floor or couch. She has to demand it's return. Now everyone wants their own personal peanut ball. WARNING: You must hide your peanut or it will be taken...;)

The ball is very good for, my child
The ball is very good for,my child. He uses it as a therapy ball to sit and watch tv or when he is trying to,pay attention to an activity. He has really abuse this ball and yet it has taken all his abuse. At first I did not think it was a touch enough material but it has worked out fine. The only issue is it picks up marks easily. The material of the ball seemed to be pours enough to leave marks from dust during storage.Unfortunately I was not able,to,find any thing that could clean it off.Other than that, it really has stand up to the test of time.

So happy with this purchase
I'm pretty excited about this item. I've done a lot of research on its uses during pregnancy and labor/delivery. I spent a bit of time trying to figure out what brand I was going to go with and after much consideration I settled on the Sivan. So far I am very happy with my purchase. It had a pretty strong odor upon opening it but after 24 hours that's gone. I decided on the 45 cm ball given my average height of 5'5" and I fell like its the perfect size. It also came with a little hand pump that worked great. Took a few minutes and we were up and running. I very much recommend this to all my pregnant friends. Added bonus my 3yr old loves bouncing around on it too. Win win!

Get this one!
I used this during labor and delivery and it was perfect! I laid on my side and had my leg propped up on this in between contractions. I spent so long looking at reviews for different brands and sizes...I'm really happy I went with this one.My kids also really like using it (especially my child with a sensory processing disorder).Prime shipping was fast, the peanut ball blew up easily and was nice and sturdy, perfect size, held my weight during labor, and I really liked the color...great purchase!

Finally found this!
My kids have dubbed it "the pickle," and have enjoyed it greatly. Unfortunately, it's not for them! I'm a Physical Therapist and will be using it at work. I've been looking for a larger peanut ball for ages, and finally did a real search on what was available. This is as large as I could find, but $5-$45 less expensive than everywhere else. AND.... it's not PVC, so it doesn't stink and off-gas horrible chemicals. Woo hoo!

Used as therapy product for autistic child ...great product
I bought this for my almost 7 year old daughter who has autism as a way for her to safely bounce around in the house...this helps her to calm down. I saw something similar on a sesame street video for use as an indoor bounce option and decided to give it a try. My daughter loved it and was playing, bouncing and rolling on it for hours. Definitely found a winner with this product. I bought a small ball pump to blow it up and that worked fine...took about ten minutes to blow it up by hand.

Half the money worth it?
It does the job okay. You get what you pay, and a lot of that depends upon your needs. The peanut ball I used in physical therapy was a Champion brand peanut. The material in the Champion is a lot more sturdy when filled with air. The Sivan is somewhat squishier by comparison. The Champion is also about twice as expensive as the Sivan; a lot of that is related to Champion being a brand name in Fitness, the rest is the quality.Only time will tell if the Sivan holds up for me and for how long. I wouldn't have that wonder up front with a Champion peanut ball.

Exactly as described
I'm in my final stages of certification for my doula and needed this for one of my mothers fixing to give birth. When it arrived I was very pleased with it. It was exactly what I was looking for. The size, color, and design are perfect and done very nicely. I like this this one is thick enough to not pop, like some others. Its very easy to air up and the fact that the pump was included was a nice bonus. Very happy with my purchase.

Highly recommend for sensory needs
I purchased this as a replacement for one I bought last year for my son who has a severe sensory processing disability. He used the ball to sit on, bounce on, lie on and roll around on and found it really met his sensory needs for deep pressure. The shape gives him added stability and support over an exercise ball. The original was well used in the months we had it and for the price I wasted no time in buying the replacement knowing how beneficial it is.I can't comment on it for exercise but I highly recommend this product for sensory needs.

Excellent Therapeutic Aid and Work Out Accessory
Bought as a therapeutic aid for traumatised children of all ages, it is proving to be invaluable. It helps with strengthening the core and makes them think about where there body needs to be to stop them falling off. They sit on it while watching t.v. which helps with regulation and lean over it to read or when drawing/colouring strengthening their shoulder and neck muscles. Its just perfect. Good size, sturdy with pump included. Surface textured so you don't slip off and for those who want to use it for fitness it definitely makes your regular work out more challenging as you focus on every part of your body.

Good peanut Exercise ball!
I bought this for my very active son and he loves it. I also use it to sit and bounce. This would be a good sensory tool in any parent/child's life. My only criticism is that it does deflate quickly. Otherwise, good buy for price.
