Some self-assembly is required but it doesn’t need any tools and only took five minutes to build and plug in.There are controls on the stand for brightness, warmth and on/off. The remote control is easier, though it needs two AAA batteries which are not included. There are perhaps too many buttons (night mode, breastfeeding mode etc) on the remote but it is easy to cycle up and down through brightness settings and ‘warmth’ settings The whitest light is perhaps a bit ‘hospital surgery’ but the warmer options are gentle on the eyes and so far I’ve had no reaction to this as I do with some LED lights at work.It’s fully adjustable on the stand which we found useful in order to get it to reflect just the right amount of light off the wall. It’s well balanced and shouldn’t fall.

This modern floor lamp is easy to put together by screwing the four separate sections together and then the lower stem into the solid base. The 18 watt lamp is connected via a flexible “goose” neck stem so it can be pivoted and rotated into virtually any position. It is reasonably tall and when fully extended the whole unit measures about 175 cm, but with the lamp adjusted to a more normal angle it measures about 145 cm.The power adapter plugs into the cable near the foot of the base via a jack plug and socket. There are three buttons on the upper stem which provide for on/off, white colour selection with a short touch providing one of four white temperature settings from warm white to cool white (2700K, 3500K, 4700K and 6500K), or a long touch giving stepless colour change, and the third button provides stepless brightness adjustment. The lamp also has a memory function so it will automatically switch back on with the settings that were previously used.The remote control provides a much more convenient alternative to controlling the lamp, mirroring the buttons on the lamp but also providing additional functionality including 4 quick selection modes, for reading (cool white/100% brightness), for breastfeeding (warm white/50% brightness), for night (warmer white/10% brightness), or for working (daylight white/100% brightness). There is also a 1 hour timer after which the light will switch off automatically. The remote control also has a built-in magnet so can be conveniently attached to the stem of the lamp when not in use.Overall this is a very good floor lamp and with a lamp arm of just over 25 cm it provides good functionality for use in our lounge although it is a little bit more expensive than some similar lamps on the market.

This lamp is just what I needed to go over my home-working desk. Its winter now in the UK and I have found myself sat in the dark on very long teams calls that start in the Afternoon - and before you know it you think to yourself.....why am I sat in the dark 3 hours later!The Lamp is very easy to assemble and I really like the various colour temperature modes to create a less harsh, less blue light.The remote is a decent size, and not one of the horrible credit card affairs that all look the same. Although surprisingly you need to add your own batteries. It is magnetic though, and attaches to the stem of the lamp.I also liked you can use a smart-plug and when it turns on it remembers the settings you last used.For my requirements it's great.

A 175cm tall, length LED Floor Lighting Fixture. It has a solid base of 22cm diameter to keep it upright when bending in a J to give light where needed. I have it behind corner of sofa so I can sit on my spot on sofa and have just the light I need without having the illuminate an entire room. The LED Light has choice of four colour levels and has a range of luminescence in each. There are 4 colour temperature modes from 2700K warm white, 3500K natural white, 4700K daylight, to a 6500K cool white. Each of these have four brightness levels. Choose the light for what doing and the level for time of day in winter and night any time of year. Some of the best features are the gooseneck on the lamp pole and the remote control unit to adjust, turn on, turn off, etc the lamp. It is only 18 watts so will also save on the amount of electricity usage!
