Don't be duped by brands like Manfrotto that can afford to charge stealthier prices based on their brand value alone. Lencarta have produced superb quality light stands. I bought the 3.6m stand on the recommendation of another photographer whilst we were shooting together. My Manfrotto light stand was so wispy and fragile it always gets a knock by an unruly kid whilst shooting weddings. When it was about to get toppled over, the other photographer recommended this. I purchased one, and was really impressed with how easy the set up was, less parts to faff around with and completely sturdy, there's no need for weighted sandbags. It's so flipping tall!!! Brilliant for stages where the bride and groom are pretty high up. I don't think I'll ever need to use it at maximum height, but it's good to be able to use it that high if I ever needed to. Was so happy with my first one and using at the next wedding I shot, that I immediately bought another one. It was a no-brainer. Really happy with Lencarta, and their services. I needed a lightstand/tripod style case to carry them together, so Lencarta even sold them too. The guy on the phone even went to the warehouse and checked to make sure 2 of there would fit in the case (bought off their eBay page) before I purchased. So bought that too, and just bought a monopod/light boom arm too. Really happy with all the products, service, price, and quality. Totally recommend. Especially these stands if you utilise OCF a lot. PS. I coupled my stands with 2 MagMod MagShoes. They are cold shoe grips and absolutely amazing. Works really well with the Lencarta light stands.

Good sturdy robust tripod

This absolutely does the job, it's fairly basic but reasonably sturdy and stable with a large corn bulb and umbrella mounted to the top of it. I do have one annoyance which is the bottom part of the stand is reluctant to move when it's in the storage position, which makes setting it up a bit of a faff as you have to battle with the stiffness of the first few cm of movement. Still, it's affordable and does what I want it to do otherwise.

Great product. Far more robust than I expected.

I recently bought two if these stands to replace my rathe road and slightly shorter Lencarta stands which have been great over several years. So far I have been really impressed with these stands. The extra height has been very useful and even at full height they are sturdy enough and stable enough for me not to worry about them falling. They are smooth to open and close. and have good sized footprint when fully open. The twist handles are big enough to be comfortable to use but not too big and bulky. All in all I am impressed and would buy again.

The packaging came ripped and when I opened it, it literally fell apart while I was trying to extend it. One of the threads where the tightening screews went in was stripped and I ended up trying several different methods to get it tightened. Eventually I just put in a different screw but it still not 100%. I would have returned it but needed it for that day

Great for the price and quality. Absolutely love them. It is long term review and I been using them for 5 years, one hundreds of projects.

So far I've had only many cheap stands for flashes and softboxes that came with the cheap studio sets. As I was setting up my small home studio I saw that I'd need something much sturdier so as to prevent the stands to fall down under the weight. I thought I would need to invest into a more expensice C stand, but after reading the description & reviews of this Lencarta stand, I decided to give it a try, even though was under £30. I'm so glad about the purchase - it's much studier that the simple basic stands. I typically use 32x32 inch softbox or small and there's absolutely no problem and no need to use a weight. The legs spread quite wide which helps to keep it stable. The knobs are also very pleasant to manipulate and the height is even more than I need. Recommended.

Ich bin sehr Zufrieden mit diesem Modell. Ich hatte bereits vorab das gleiche und habe aufgrund meiner guten Erfahrung das selbe Modell noch einmal gekauft. Die Luftdruckfederung ist optimal und die Standgröße des Dreibeins macht den Ständer auch voll ausgefahren noch stabil.

Das Stativ läßt sich leicht aufbauen und macht einen stabilen Eindruck. Bin mit diesem Stativ sehr zufrieden.

+ il monte très haut, + la tête peut être placée verticalement ou horizontalement + il y a 2 pas de vis différents + les tubes sont amortis à la descente + beaucoup de métal + rien à monter pour l'utiliser + 'petite' taille vu la hauteur (à transporter dans une grande voiture) - la tête ne peut pas être inclinée - les éléments de serrage sont en plastique - des rivets qui me semblent un peu légers ... à voir à l'usage et, si ils cassent, je pourrais les remplacer par des écrous amazon livraison dans les cartons d'origine sans protection un carton était abimé mais pas le support heureusement conclusion: c'est assez positif et je recommande l'achat pour des amateurs, semi-pro ou pro débutants pour des pros confirmés, qui utilisent des appareils très lourds et coûteux, il y a mieux pour beaucoup plus cher

Un très bon pieds, même si l amortissement à air fonctionne bien à vide, mais il est trop faible pour préserver un éclairage.
