Going into my pregnancy I didn’t know anything about hypnobirthing but I definitely heard the word all over the place. I looked it up one day and thought it sounded promising. I’m always up for anything all natural and I’m a pretty open minded person as well. I eventually decided on this book and really loved it ! I still have about 15 pages or so to go but I feel confident in saying how great it is. It’s very informative and I really like how she explains things. I’m not huge on the relaxation scenario things but I still think they can be helpful and I certainly like the idea behind them. I’ll probably be using the audio version of the relaxation things instead. Overall I think this is a good easy read too. I’m not a huge reader quite honestly but I got through this book pretty quickly. I also never wanted to put it down because I just wanted to keep reading lol. I don’t think you can go wrong with this book at all.

Katharine has successfully helped me feel peaceful with the labor process, and has provided me with some tools to use during labor. I did have moments while reading where I was slightly bugged with the writing style and grammar usage, but regardless, she does get her point across. You can also sense her opinions like her love for home births etc. Overall I feel the product is $4-5 over priced, but I’m still glad I purchased.
