I was skeptical, but needed two for my large and giant breed dogs. They are adjustable so it fits my smaller golden retriever and also my newfoundland.The reusable packets keep cool longer than the wet variety. Nice zipper compartments hold the ice packs. The use of elastic cord with a stopper works well for sizing to fit dogs neck.The material is sturdy and holds up to washing. The only negative I can think of is different material would be nice and the ability to buy extra ice packs to switch out for longer time in the sun. Overall this is a good value for a good product that works well.

I have tried a LOT of cooling solutions for my dogs= today in Houston it will be 107 degrees. Evaporative cooling jackets, ice cooling belts, etc. This is so easy to use and helps their circulatory system cool. Evaporative products don't work well in humid climates. I still don't leave them out for long when it is this hot but at least I know that it does help some. Highly recommend. The price is also very reasonable. I saw a similar product on Etsy for $30+ but you had to purchase the ice packs separately.

We tried every single thing on the market and ( first of all, headd up..cooling t shirts are a scam) this is the only one that had actual ice pack.inserts. we needed this because Lily is part basset hound and she has that special coat..water proof or something...she takes longer to dry than the adverage dog...her layers grow opposite or something..LETS JUST SAY SHE RESIST the comfort of a cool cloth ( t-shirt) type thing. This was not too complicated nor did it really bother her. Kept her cool for a few outings and care rides...we have AC but the backseat takes longer to cool. It cleans easily and is adjustable between med and extra large dogs it seems and fits perfectly on ur "ODD" sized animals such as Lily.

My pup and I have gone through many cool collars and this is, by far, the best. My only caution is that it takes a few moments to adjust the fit which is not a worry for us as my pup is patient. He loves his cool collar and I love not having to worry about him overheating in the Carolina summer.

I like this product and this was the 2nd one I purchased but had to return it because the measurement for the neck that I went by didn't allow me to get the collar over my dogs head. Thus it was useless to me.
