This 8-foot hose is sized for matching round 3-inch air connections. It is not for a diesel heater combustion exhaust connection.Spiral steel wire supports the round shape of the flexible duct. Around it, aluminum foil, PET film and a black PVC cover provide a layered construction that helps soften duct-transmitted noise in fan and blower setups. The PVC cover also helps block light leaks through the hose wall. This diesel heater duct comes as one black hose with two duct clamps. Its ends fit over the outside of matching round outlets or connectors for clamp fixation. The hose can be bent and trimmed to suit the air connection, with room for overlap at both ends. ## Features - Low Noise Silencer: 3 inch duct designed for reducing noise from fans and carbon filter systems, can decrease the noise by up to 50% - 3 Inch Flexible Hose Lightproof: Thick layer of black PVC on dryer hose prevents light leaks. I was able to stretch the liner and get the connector inside, but it might be worth going with the next size up. **Q: Is this UL approved for dryer venting?** A: No. I wouldn’t use this. Higher temperature applications require a different flex usually all aluminum for dryer venting because of the moisture levels being exhausted. **Q: What is the inner diameter ? will this fit to 3" pvc ? i am trying to use it for the intake and outtake of tankless water heater** A: Inner diameter is 75mm, fit to 3" **Q: I'd this certified with nsf?** A: Yes ## Frequently Bought Together - Hon&Guan 3" x 8FT Insulated Duct with Aluminum Foil, Flexible Dryer Vent Hose for HVAC Ventilation and Duct Fan Systems, 2 Clamps Include - Hon&Guan 3 in Soffit Exhaust Vent, Dryer Vent Cover Round 3 Inch Vent Cover with Built-in a Fly Screen for Bathroom Office Home (ø75mm) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/676160021-hon-and-guan-3-inch-diesel-heater-hose-8-ft](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/676160021-hon-and-guan-3-inch-diesel-heater-hose-8-ft) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
