This is my experience with a wall mounted chimey with exhaust. To make your life easy - example, avoiding the concentrated liquid, easy and effective cleaning etc - it will need a lot more dedicated effort. Ah, not to forget - thick gloves. Tin parts, blades, edges prone to cut injuries. If you are cleaning after a year or more, you'd need to dismantle each part. Spare the main motor and the electrical/electronic parts, lights etc. Dont forget to note wiring connections before dismantling. Need hot water - you would need to take some rounds heating water using bucket and immersion heater, atleast half an hour heating per round of full bucket. Also, a large drum which can accomodate the largest part of the dismantled system. My working is half the bottle of liquid per bucket of boiled water. I needed 3 bottles of this liquid, so 6 rounds of water heating, and 2 buckets hot water in the tub at a time for effective immersion and scrub of parts. Whatever parts can be accomodated in the large tub (round by round), put them, add 1 bucket boiled water, and then add half the bottle of this liquid. Leave till the water gets lukewarm. Tough greases become loose and white. They can be scrubbed off using brush, steel wool scrubber etc. The inner parts like the chamber, the fan blades, fan chamber, oil collector etc are the heavy duty ones needing scrubbing with the parts immersed inside the lukewarm tub itself. Exhaust pipe if made of plastic can also be immersed. Glass parts need gentle cleaning only, even the last round of used lukewarm water would also be fine. Note: Self cleaning exhaust models have a heating film attached to the fan chamber. I didnt take a chance cleaning the fan chamber with the film attached. I removed it, couldnt restick it, hence had to sacrifice that function when cleaning exhaust first time. So, I bought the exhaust in 2021, first time cleaned it in detail in 2023 using this liquid, again in 2024 and now in Diwali. Well, the boiled water technique is what I tried now, and it was quite effective compared to last 2 times, especially avoiding the concentrated liquid. You will need to spend a dedicated weekend (Sat-Sun) for this. I assume that if you clean regularly using the liquid, say once in a week, using gloves and towel, the accessible inner chamber parts, oil collector, outer mesh etc can be maintained neat. But, the fan blades and its chamber, upper parts, exhaust pipe (plastic) needs a yearly dismantled detailed cleaning.

It is mostly like water. I tried cleaning but after applying on oily surface of chimney I couldn’t see any kind of reaction. It was same as it is even after 10 min. I couldn’t see any kind d of foam appearing as shown in photos. It as good as water filled in bottle and selling.
