I really like these lights, exceptionally better than the tiny small ones that I had before. I know the picture's not that great quality because it was raining that night, windy and it came off one of the hooks, but they really good quality. I was impressed with the box that they came in. It's a styrofoam protectant type box where each light goes into each hole. Don't throw it away. I expect these lights to last many years. There was an extra bulb in case one breaks. They look like their glass lights but they're not. You don't have to insert any bulb yourself, they're already strung up. I wouldn't knock them against anything because it does make a sound against my metal post and I wasn't sure if it would break but they didn't. I would just be careful. I'm really happy with my purchase and would definitely buy again.

I ordered these lights for Halloween. They were packaged well when they arrived. Once plugged in, the color was amazing!! My neighbors even commented on them. I would buy again!

My one string of lights had such a bright orange glow that it reflected off the trees and shown all the way down the street.

So far no issues with this. Even comes with an extra bulb (whereas the same one I purchased at the store didn't come with a spare...go figure). Be careful though because the bulb will break somewhat easily. It was windy when I was hanging it up and one of the bulbs hit the wood fencing and broke. Thankfully there was a spare. I decided to string it taut so there's no slack that would cause it to billow in heavy gusts of wind and possibly break against the wood fencing. That's the only reason for my one star deduction.

I didn't see anyone reviewing the LED version so here we go. First of all, they still have the same warm glow that gives you that vintage feel. I wish the plastic felt just a little heavier but still feels like a qualify build. Bought 2 strands (25 x 2 lights) and all lite up on test. Also with the LED version it won't get hot like the non led version (growing up incandescent C9 lights always got hot, guess everyone forgets). I am going to put these up for xmas in about 2 weeks so will update this if I see any big issues.

I thought these were a pretty good replacement for vintage bulbs till I visited our local Menards store and found their "vintage leds". They are so much better! Love that the store ones are ceramic so they look better when off and no seams as the plastic ones from Amazon have. The store was also cheaper. In the photos the Amazon ones are in the bunch on the right.
