Love this tense unit. I got this one for my son and had never used one. I tried his and we both loved it so I bought one for myself. Use it all the time for sore muscles, stiff neck, back pain and arthritics knees.

ONE little thing would get this the two extra stars. It has NO memory. Sometimes you need to adjust the pads to get them in the right spot and you dont want to do that when they are firing. You cant pause this one so your only option really is to pull the cable from the unit to move them. Once you do it resets as if you just turned it on...so a pause button would solve that...OR if it would just hold its last setting on power off. The dial to adjust power is not great, it sucks in fact. You have to turn it pretty much a full rotation to get it to make the next incremental move and since you have to do this EVERY time you make any change or power the unit on its annoying. Cycle through the modes to find one you like? Resets to zero power each time. MEMORY would make this an awesome little unit for the price.

Simply works, best one for the money, have used others, but the small size I use in my pocket on the golf course, and I am a physician and there is no basis to the manual saying limit treatment for 20 min a day, I use for 5 or more 20 min sessions, if it had a way to set for 1 hour I would use that.

They don’t stick very well to your skin. Why buy new ones to find they don’t stick either. This is the 2nd one I’ve purchased and the 1st one the unit quit working after a couple of months. Very disappointing

To be fair, this device was amazing for the price while it lasted. I got one as a gift, and seemed to work perfect for me, as I often get sciatica flareups. I loved mine so much, that I ended up buying my wife one for Mother's Day - and she absolutely loved it (got her her very own so we weren't fighting over who's using it first lol). The device absolutely helps with sore muscles, and was the perfect size for portability. However, the very next day after she was using it, they intensity dial quit working on her device after one use. So, we were within the return window and returned it in exchange for another one. The new one did arrive and is seemingly holding up well so far, but I'm afraid of it failing on her again. Shortly after she received her new one, my intensity dial failed just "out of the blue" much like her first one did, and I only had mine for 2 weeks. I gave it 2 stars out of fairness - what hurts it is that the device is not at all reliable and seems to fail only after a short amount of uses, particularly the intensity dial. But when it did work, it worked well. I'm now going to buy another different TENS device for myself, and when my wife's device fails (which I'm convinced that it surely will), I'll get her a different device as well. I recommend skipping over this one and perhaps paying a little more for a more reliable device AND MAKE SURE YOU READ THOSE REVIEWS and purchase wisely.
