The little handles that you lift the basket with come off and get lost in the shuffle. Also, they float up if you lose suction in the skimmer. I had to get plastic wire ties to anchor brass fittings in them to keep them from floating up.

Used this fake Baker basket ONE TIME.Came apart. Handle was little piece plastic did not even stay on. What a waste of money. Oh yeah. Made in China. Had go to pool store and buy a real Baker basket.

I ordered this product thinking it was the OEM basket with the metal handle. The item picture clearly indicated this. Instead, I get the aftermarket, pool store quality basket with a plastic handle that is almost certain to break before the end of the season. The product images have since been changed to reflect the aftermarket basket.Maybe this thing lasts a few years, but the fact that I didn't get what the product page suggests is very disappointing.

Used this to replace a factory Dough Boy skimmer basket (skimmer is Skim-Line 0-2094-013). Fits the skimmer opening perfectly and seems to be a lot more rigid and sturdy. Has the added bonus of a weight in the bottom to help keep it down. Nothing not to like.UPDATE 7/11/2013Basket is holding up well. Shows no signs of cracking or weakening. Still highly recommend. May actually order another one soon as a spare.

I bought 2. One did not last a month. The top rim completely separated from the basket. Very disappointed. The other is holding up so far. I just covered the pool for winter, so we’ll find out in the spring.

I was going through pool baskets every month because of the vacuum system destroying cheap pool store baskets. This was much more sturdy and I have gone 2 months (so far) without having to replace it. But it and save yourself some headaches.

Fits Dough Boy wide mouth skimmers and actually better then there's it's not as fragile , more rubber then stiff plastic I definitely recommend it and just like Arnold Schwarzenegger use to say I'll be back!UPDATE it's been a year and still very happy with it.
