NINTENDO SUPER FAMICOM JAP CONSOLE

The Super Famicom console is great. Tried games on it such as Super Mario World, Super Mario Collection (Super Mario Allstars) and Super Mario Kart. Everything is working and the seller packaged it well and is helpful for advice and questions. It's also good that you can play a Japanese games console on a UK TV and it also works with a 9V plug which is used for a PAL Super Nintendo so you don't need any converters. I think it's more better to get a Super Famicom rather than the original Famicom console since it's more easier to hook up and has more chances to work. Very happy with this purchase!

Console was heavily discoloured. AV cable was bent to the point of broken. AC adapter was dangerous even after using a step down converter. Heavy clean was required to get it working along with buying new AC adapter & AV cable

I believed the order was meant to arrive with the power supply and TV cables. I am extremely disappointed to say that this wasn't the case.

WRONG. DO NOT USE A UK SNES PSU. IT IS AC BUT YOU NEED DC. IT MAY WORK FOR A WHILE, BUT IT ABSOLUTELY WILL DAMAGE YOUR SUPER FAMICOM. YOU CAN USE A MK1 MEGA DRIVE PSU. OR GET A SFC ONE.

Its fine to use a uk adapter as I own the Super Famicom and the Super Nintendo. Had them for years and have always used the uk one with no problems.
