I spilled water and the protector absorbed everything and the mattress underneath was completely dry.I was worried that a waterproof protector would feel crinkly or hot, but this one is actually quite comfortable. Perfect material. I have been using this since 5 days and it is very comfortable (my daughter wants to sleep on this only now). Fits perfectly on my bed, and the color of the product arrived is same as show in the picture. Very easy to clean.
