The Ansell HyFlex 48-101 PPE Gloves have completely changed my relationship with hands. I used to think of them as simple tools for grabbing, lifting, and occasionally regretting DIY decisions. Now? They feel like highly trained professionals that happen to live on my fingers. First off, the fit is so snug it’s almost suspicious. It’s like they were measured on my hands by a very precise but slightly judgemental scientist. You don’t wear these gloves so much as you become a slightly more competent version of yourself. Grip-wise, they’re basically velcro for objects. Screws, tools, boxes, mysterious workshop items from 2003 — nothing escapes. I dropped something once while wearing them and I’m convinced it was user error, not glove performance. The gloves have since forgiven me, but I haven’t forgiven myself. Breathability is also weirdly impressive. My hands didn’t turn into a sauna, which is frankly uncharacteristic for PPE and mildly unsettling in how good it is. Durability? I’ve put them through more abuse than my last New Year’s resolution, and they’re still going strong, quietly judging me in the background. If you want gloves that make you feel like you’ve upgraded your hands from “general purpose” to “precision engineering”, these are the ones. I am now considering naming them.

Great gloves outstanding value 12 pairs for £12

I had a few pairs of these before and then tried a few other types out. I have come back to these as they seem the best ones for me. They allow a tactile feel when using nuts and bolts and holding screws for drilling, and are strong enough to use when handling rough wood. I can wear them all day and they don't make my hands sweaty, and they last over multiple jobs. I was using the disposable black latex gloves for a while, but these gloves are far superior in every way. The fit is good and I will order more when the times come to replace them.

Superbly made gloves; think enough to not tear like nitrile gloves, but thin enough so you can still do things by ‘feel’ I was sick of going through nitrile gloves like they were going out of fashion every time I worked on our cars. These gloves are really well made and don’t tear at all; I used one pair to do front & rear suspension on my BMW over 2 days and put them back into their box as they’re not damaged at all… Much, much better for value!

These gloves are not for heavy protection but for when you need to retain as much dexterity as possible. When on i was able to partially see through them on close inspection but they allowed me to continue operating my equipment with their many fiddly buttons which is what I wanted when required to wear gloves. When first on I found them slightly smaller than expected on the fingers so when buying more would go for the next size. Despite this once working I found them comfortable to wear over an extended periods

I have used Ansel gloves for 25+ years. I wear them when I do construction work, paint, yared work or any task where I do not want to expose my hands to the elements. These gloves allow you to pick up the smallest items such as nails, screws, etc. If you need a glove for a task; Ansel makes one.
