Keeps my dishwasher smelling nice and clean really does the job

I’m very sensitive to smells, and my dishwasher no matter what I did always had a lingering smell which would also stick to the clean dishes so I could never escape the smell. I found this product and didn’t expect much at all.. BUT it’s fantastic, absolutely brilliant. Such a small thing, so cheap and SO effective. I now have NO horrible smells from the dishwasher or that sticks to the pots. I’ll be continuously buying this from now on. I do however think that it doesn’t have much of a scent, I expected there to be a lemon scent that you can smell but you can’t, however I don’t find this a problem because it deodorises so effectively.

I’m not sure how effective these are? The scent is almost non-existent, but my dishwasher doesn’t smell foul in any way, which must mean they are serving their intended purpose, right? I have two of these fresheners hanging in my dishwasher (see pics). The one on the right, was installed 10 months ago (approx 300 cycles ago), which still has around 20% yellow and green liquid remaining (not sure if there is a difference between the liquids, or just the colour). The one on the right was installed 2 months ago and the green liquid is still full, but the yellow liquid has reduced by a little under 20%. I’m slightly perplexed as to how it’s supposed to last approximately 60 washes! For context; my dishwasher is a slimline Bosch and I always run a cycle every evening, after a full day of heavy usage of cutlery, crockery, mugs glasses etc. I trust that my dishwasher is a subject matter expert with washing up, therefore I always set it to run on “Auto 45-65 degrees” coupled by “Efficient Dry”. Will the liquid diminish until completely empty? I am interested to hear people’s experiences of how long these last? I can barely smell the scent, even when holding the freshener up to my nose. Is the scent supposed to be that that weak?

Highly recommend I smelt the fragrance as soon as I opened the dishwasher door. Stuff was in there for a day after it had washed etc and it smelt fresh!

Bit expensive really when you could buy for £1 but as i cannot seem to buy anywhere local now I have no choice. To be honest these are the only ones I use as seem to be the only ones that work and get rid of the odour you tend to get from a dishwasher
