Thick and comfortable pillow cases for a great price!
These are thicker than the pillow cases I've used in the past but that's actually what I'm looking for. They feel very crisp like a hotel pillow case would. In addition to that they also seem to stay cooler than the thinner pillows. These were the cheapest pillowcases I could find on Amazon (with prime) when I bought these but I'm entirely happy with the purchase. If you really can't spend this, there is a certain brick and mortar store starting with a "W" that sells really terrible pillow cases for $4. I'll definitely take these ones instead!

Sturdy, well made, good value
Sturdy, well-constructed standard pillowcases for a very reasonable price. The cotton fabric is thick and not very soft, but it is durable. The instructions say to wash cold gentle, but I throw these into the hot load and the hot dryer with all the other bed linens and they hold up just fine. A good value.

Good Quality Pillow Cases at a Good Price
These are basic, well made pillow cases that are just right to use as is or to personalize with embroidery or other handwork. I needed some standard size pillow cases for the two guest rooms in our new house. The price was certainly right and I used them straight away, and have since had the fun of embroidering them, using iron transfer patterns. The stitching added a personal touch that is a quick way to personalize the guest room. And, if you don't do handwork, they are still well made pillow cases at a reasonable price.

Cheap Pillowcases
This is a set of two plain white pillowcases. I didn't realize, but they're intended for craft projects, such as embroidery, fabric painting, or other types of embellishment. The thing is, they're pretty cheap. And by cheap, I mean stiff. When I pulled them out of the washing machine, I was dismayed by how stiff they were. They softened slightly in the dryer, but they're low thread-count cotton, so you aren't getting something soft enough to lay your head on while sleeping. I would NEVER use these as my main pillowcases, and I certainly wouldn't waste time embellishing them, unless it was a kid's "My First Embroidery" project, or something like that. So what are they good for? Under-pillowcases. See, I like to layer my pillows with at least three pillowcases, to try and keep the actual pillows clean and to help reduce dust allergies and that sort of thing. First, I zip my pillows in specially designed protectors, and then I put on one or two plain white pillowcases, and finally I add the colorful pillowcases that match our sheets. I think these will suffice for that purpose, but I plan on washing them a few more times. Hopefully, they'll soften a bit. If not, well, they'll be underneath one or two other pillowcases, so hopefully their quality (or lack thereof) won't be an issue. So long as you're aware of what you're getting, you should be satisfied. They're NOT high thread-count Egyptian cotton pillowcases! They're very basic, no-frills pillowcases, good for layering, or maybe for craft projects. I'll give them three stars, because I was hoping for something a bit nicer.

Good Construction- Not Soft
These are well put together and very inexpensive. My only complaint is that these are not soft. I think with many washes and some wear they will soften up but initially they are not so soft. All said and done I am content with my purchase and I will be using the pillow cases.

I would give 100 stars if I could. These ...
I would give 100 stars if I could. These truly are the real deal. Heavy weight excellently made. You can diaper a baby, wash a car, dry dishes, polish windows, you name it these are those towels. I started life in a rural community and things didn't move as quickly there. I grew up with a flour sack towel over my left shoulder. When we moved to Southern Cali, yep, I still had my towel on my shoulder all through my teens. My mother worked twelve hours a day seven days a week and I did all the cooking, cleaning, etc., for all eight of us that included four brothers, miscellaneous uncles, and so on. I never saw a new towel. These take so well to laundry, detergent, bleach and vinegar. They dry so quickly, dry breakfast dishes, wring it out, its dry for lunch and again for dinner. Use another for your biscuits, pie crust and cookie dough, rolling, shaping cutting, etc. A much neater easier clean up than kitchen counters. Old time flour sacks also had prints, very often flowered, and were used in addition to household task for dresses for little girls, shirts for boys, doll clothes and so on. This world used to be much more efficient and less wasteful.

Buy another brand, these pile quickly
I am disappointed in these cases. After just a few washes they are pilling so it feels terrible to put your face on them to sleep at night. Several of the seams are already coming undone. I also bought a utopia brand case here on Amazon and they are ten times better for the same price.
