Watching it again was a real memory jogger and I truly enjoyed it, even the naff "power rangers style" baddies were a lot more cool than I remembered!!Good sci-fi popcorn movie with a unique hero...as the damsel in distress says "every girl wants to be rescued by a night in shining armour...even if he wears it on the inside...".Get it for the silly action fix but enjoy it when you realize how much other movies and television series have borrowed from the movie story arc!!Supplier provided regular updates on my order and delivered well in time! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A sci fi clasic *by P***T on 3 March 2017* This is for the extended version I found the quality a bit better the normal copy more like brand new vhs so there you go as reviews seam mixed up and can't find much on this copy its not so washed out as the normal copy as whots extended I sadly don't no will up date this review when I find out it would be nice to see this on blue ray remastered my be some day I like this one more than mutronics why did thay call it that its about time there was a new live film with today's technology it could be great ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kung Fu with an Alien touch... *by M***T on 6 November 2009* I first saw the original Guyver movie starring Mark Hamill of Star Wars Luke Skywalker fame...which was good in my opinion and one if available in Region 1. I would also get...This movie follows on from that original and David Hayter plays so well that he looks in all sense of the phrase...the locigal successor...he makes this movie his own.The story is based on the Japanese original storyline from the animee series, but set in America (where else...) and goes a little more further into how the Guyver came into being...its all science fiction folks...beings from another world creating something that can only come out of someone imagination...I take it for its entertaining value and know that some people will not like this kind of movie...of this I don't worry as there are plenty of movies other people do not like that are fiction in other genres that i'm not keen on either...Its basically take it or leave it... ## Frequently Bought Together - Guyver Dark Hero (1994) "R"rating Action Sci-Fi Movie / NEW DVD - NTSC, All Region (Registered Airmail ) Only Happyday - Mutronics The Guyver - Guyver - The Bioboosted Armor Collection [2005] [2009] --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/675155904-guyver-dark-hero-1994-rrating-action-sci-fi-movie-new](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/675155904-guyver-dark-hero-1994-rrating-action-sci-fi-movie-new) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
