can this material be sawed together to make a 15 ft X 15 ft square?

It's actually fairly slippery and challenging to sew two pieces of this material together. If I were going to do that, I think I would buy their tape that they sell for putting kites together, butt the edges together, two pieces at a time, and tape them first. I would then go along the taped area with a zigzag stitch to strengthen it, both along the actual butted edge and possibly along the edges of tape as well. You will need to have an area that's both flat and clean to lay the material down on to work on it, and you may wish to tack the pieces down with packing tape on the edges that you aren't working with in order to keep it fairly still. As I said, it can be slippery. So in answer to your question, yes, you could sew them together . . . you'd need three of them . . . but I'd definitely go the taped route first or you will find it difficult if not impossible to get your edges straight and flat.

could this be used to make a hammack?

Yes this fabric is strong enough to make a capable hammock, but it will sound crunchy and noisy, even after using the hammock several times. Not a soft feeling fabric, and because it is waterproof, it won't breathe.
